New Bass Day - Geddy Lee Jazz

An old mate sent me a message "You after a Geddy Lee Jazz?" er...Nope, well, yeah...

He had bought himself one years ago as a studio bass (he's a drummer) and needed some new drum gear and the Geddy was surplus to requirements.

So Only 3 weeks after getting a gorgeous Stingray Classic, I've ended up with a tasty Geddy Lee too!

I've played 100's of these Geddy Lee basses, and always thought i'd get one, just not so unexpectedly.

Anyhow, i'm glad it's this one. It's a really great example and on the main is in pristine condition.

It's now been restrung with Fender 45-100's as my mate had made a real pigs ear of some Rotosounds he'd put on it - And i've tweaked it to my preference.

Very Happy.

Trav

I love mine ... with 'custom made' black pickguard. ('Custom' costs a lot, don't it?)

Not if you get it made by the Bass Doc (who has all the exact measurements)! I much prefered mine with a BWB plate - made the guitar look so much more classy B)
