  1. I've got one of these, really comfortable to play and very light. Got it out for a play the other week and found the sound out of it to be not very good. Although the bridge might seem a bit over-complicated I don't recall messing about with it too much, just holds it's intonation well. I never needed to adjust the neck, good thing as it didn't come with a truss rod tool. The top string set screws are a regular thread size, I lost one and used a gutter bolt until I found it again.
  2. I got a set of Steinberger double ball ends, from GAK, I think, and they seem to be ok. Sound like Roto 66.
  3. https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/laser-miniature-hex-key-set-mm-and-af/ They had this set on the counter as I was paying for something else. Had a bit of difficulty finding a key to fit my Badass 2 also.
  4. Quality bass, don't go lower in price. The money you are asking there is bargain basement. Awesome bass for the price.
  5. Saw them on the Jools Holland show a while back, bought the album the next day. Love this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGpAyS5D9lw
  6. How many shirts does that guy own? Looks like he's done the whole suite on bass. I might buy that, awesome bunch of music.
  7. Carlsbro Stingrays seem to be getting a bit of stick here. I had 2 at different times. Maybe not a great sounding amp but neither let me down at a gig. Ever. If anybody has one they want to get rid of, I will gladly take it off their hands and give it a loving home. I honestly think they look really cool as well.
  8. If I saw one in a shop I would have to give it a try. They seem really interesting.
  9. I have 2 B&CH basses. John Hall would not be impressed.
  10. Nice looking machine. Don't really like pick-guards on sunburst (or any other finish) but that's just my preference. Have to say though, the bass does sound good in the clip there, fits the music tidy. Or it could be your playing. Anyway, nice bass, enjoy.
  11. I had an early 80's Tokai Jazz. I put a chrome scratch plate on it. I just ordered one for a jazz bass. Fitted no problem- exact fit mind you. I'd suggest getting one to fit a 70's Jazz as these were what the Tokai jazzes were based on.
