itu Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Looks really good. This has to be early Series II (pickup polepieces visible). What's the serial? Quote

Doctor J Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) 86 Passion II and 09 Arpege IV Edited March 21 by Doctor J 6 Quote
thodrik Posted March 21 Posted March 21 I always wanted an Arpege or Passion in that walnut/natural colour. I would have actually bought on if that had been an option when I bought mine. Quote

I really love the pickup positions of the Passion and the dual EQs of the Arpege. The Delanos are a very different sound from the Benedettis, would be a long battle to pick a favourite. Despite the bolt-on neck, the sustain and clarity of the Arpege is something else. It leads me to think that a Passion IV with that dual EQ setup would be something very special indeed. ped Posted July 5 Posted July 5 @Bigwan and anyone with a Roger Glover sig (with the binding) - is there a forearm cutaway or is the top flat? Quote

Hm I had a bass with a flat top and binding and it hurt my forearm when sitting. It doesn’t look like the ones with binding have an angled bit… I know the ones without binding do. How did you find it? I’m only looking out of idle curiosity tbh. Quote

Playing fingerstyle isn't a problem. Using a pick isn't particularly comfortable, at least not the way I do it! Quote

I never use a pick so that’s good. I know the body on the excess is quite big though. Do you have a picture from the bottom end like this? Quote
