Chrisd24 was the last to sell one on here and he was looking for a very reasonable 420 pounds! so Clarkys 400- 500 pounds be correct! [/quote] IIRC I have seen these go generally in the £400-500 range depending on condition etc. Right now, the market is rubbish so probably £400-450 is about right. [/quote] Why wouldn't you get back what you paid for it 3 months earlier? In my experience [b]decent[/b] basses don't really lose much after the initial depreciation from new unless it's been badly treated. In fact the older they get the more they seem to be worth. IMO of course [/quote] I could be wrong but people may be referring to the fact that some folks buy 'New' basses and expect to get back exactly what they paid for them (either immediately or within the next few years); I concur that after the initial depreciation, most basses don't depreciate that much and some can appreciate!
