dmccombe7
I beg to differ,,,,,I believe the Saturday night is the main part!!!!
I stand corrected and shall reword my previous reply. For the socialisers in the bass fraternity then definately the Sat night will be more enjoyable. Curry, beer and lashings of bass chat i believe. Then fall into your hotel room bed during the early hrs of Sun morning with a huge smile on your face (aaaah memories of younger days) For the sad old gits like myself who can't handle a good night out then Sunday is more about looking and playing with basses and enjoying lots of bass chat with like minded anoraks like myself. Then have a good jam session throughout the day with morning after coffee, tea and cakes supplied.. I think this might be a more accurate picture. No matter what day you go it is great fun for all and i thoroughly enjoyed myself last year on the Sunday. Great bunch of guys and very well organised. Steve Williams did a spot last year and was brilliant and a very nice guy into the bargain. AttitudeCastle
Throwing it out there, as for those of us who can't make Moffat and who live a little further north into scotland, Opinion of a North / Northeast scotland bass bash? dmccombe7
Moffat is a great run on the bike so no excuses there. I like the idea of a Perth bash. Great city and very friendly. Its also pretty central and fairly easy to get to from just about any direction unless you stay in the Hebrides or Orkney. I vote for Perth. Now who is gonna organise it then ???
Agree. Mines is tucked up in heated garage for the winter. Yep I'm a fair weather biker and proud of it. Might be worth asking some mates with transport to go and make it a good day out. You won't be disappointed I'm sure. If you were nearer me i could have picked you up but would be going in wrong direction for me. Sorry Dave
EmmettC
I have a winter bike, so I'm not fairweather, but Moffat might be too far for me, even with heated grips. I'll see if I can make it and try and get a lift.
