Go for it , I played a whole gig with my unlined jazz a couple of weeks after getting it , never played one before and it worked out fine , you will be amazed at what you know without even looking !

Ok I am finally getting one of these baby's for my birthday this year and am very exited , not played one but heard clips and read lots about them , i like jazz necks which this has , and have i loved the look of them since laying eyes n them a couple of years back . Just thought I would share this with you all, feel the love Gav

Brill news ! It can be so nerve racking , I felt the same when I went for my first audition after a 18 year break , turns out they were at the same sort of level as myself so all that panic for nothing!

I have his basic bass workout on I books and that's pretty good , will have a look at the other one

Well we had a text saying it wasn't for him , he has seen us live a few times so would have thought he would come to this conclusion before wasting everyone's time !

We auditioned a poss 2nd guitarist last night and was the strangest experience! , we had sent him the Set list a while ago , all pretty standard rock covers ( you know the score ) then we would ask him if he was ok to have a run through this song and he would say yes and then we would do the whole song start to Finnish without him playing a note !! And would look at the floor , 1st time it happened we didn't really say anything about it as we were all a bit of loss as what to say but then the 2 songs later he was doing the same , we managed to get out of him that he didn't play as he would just play same as the other guitar player so didn't play ! Any way we ended up cutting it short and he left without a goodbye or anything ! Very strange

Ok got the video set for tonight , day off we'd so know what I am doing

Well I went into my local music shop the other day ,and the owner who usually stands behind the counter looking at his computer screen and more or less ignores me and when I ask for anything just briefly takes eyes off the screen to point to where it is well he actually said good morning and smiled at me when I went in , he did have a rep with him though who was showing him his stock on his I pad ! Could of pushed me over with a feather ' thought I was in the wrong shop!!

Played in polperro last night at the legion , a pain to unload but so worth it , one of the best gigs so far , great crowd and we had an amazing guitar player dep for us , still buzzing this morning !
