I'm selling my Xotic BB Bass preamp as it's not getting much use these days. It's a great little overdrive that can warm up a sterile rig and add some much needed girth for when your guitarists drop out to solo. I used it for this purpose for a good while. It's in excellent condition with velcro on the bottom. I replaced the stock knobs as they're as useful as a chocolate teapot on a dark stage. I can dig them out if you need them but these knobs are a significant improvement for practical use. I'm after [s]£120[/s] [s]£110[/s] £100 posted. Hi guys, I've got a set of Gibson 500T and 496R humbuckers. These came out of a 67 reissue Flying V shortly after purchase as they're a bit hot for my tastes. They're ceramic, high gain pickups. If you're into hard rock or metal these will get the job done. You can roll down the volume to clean them up but they definitely excel at the high-gain gig. I'm after [s]£75[/s] [s]£60[/s] [s]£50[/s] £45 posted for these Cheers, Bob

Just got this back after having a full clean-up, setup, entirely new wiring and pickups and some locking Sperzels. Sounds absolutely lovely:

Bumping! EDIT: For clarity the specs are: 4 Conductor wiring, "F" spaced bridge pickup, long legs (1/2 inch) on neck pickup, short legs (1/4 inch) on bridge (should fit into most Gibsons and Gibson-inspired variants.) I'd also be willing to sell them separately if someone has a H/S/S Strat that could do with a new bridge pickup

Also, what's your rehearsal space like? It might sound better than you think if you're in a small room.

I know this is a cliché answer but it may be a case of having to EQ your amp to a tone that sounds a little unpleasant on its on in order to sit in the mix. I love Precisions because you can practically plug and play with them but some basses do require a bit of amp-side tweaking to get the best results.

Bought a Fight Stick off Brett. Good comms, quick dispatch. Would definitely do business with again!

Here are my two current Precisions: Fender US Deluxe Precision Bass V w/ Aguilar OBP3 and Nordstrand NP5: Fender Mark Hoppus (2011) with US Standard Precision neck, HMV bridge, Nordstrand NP4, concentric vol/tone with orange drop cap, custom pickguard with the P route in the standard position (moved from the neck back towards the bridge with the second coil flipped the correct way around):

The fuzz is for a handful of songs and for fun. The filter has similar duties but when you run the two together you get some amazing synth tones so I consider these two useful but non-essential gravy.

Hi guys, got a set of used, calibrated BKP Rebel Yells with nickel covers (six string guitar humbuckers.) If you're not familiar with Bare Knuckle Pickups they're handwound The covers could do with a bit of a clean and there's some tasteful wear on them but nothing eye-scarring (some scratches, little dots, doesn't have the same sheen as a new set but still shiny with a polish.) The bridge has plenty of authority with tight, controlled bass and healthy doses of mids and highs. The neck pickup is a little mellower and not as aggressive in its midrange. I'd say they're pretty versatile humbuckers; they can cover hard rock, hair rock and both pickups clean up wonderfully when you dial back the volume controls allowing for some rather sweet blues tones (I've played ska using these pickups to great effect.) More info can be found here: https://bareknucklep...ckup=rebel_yell These are currently sold as a covered set for £235 so I'm asking for [s]£140[/s] [s]£120[/s] £110 posted. Cheers, Bob

I'm a big fan of Bare Knuckle Pickups (the guitar pickups at least.) I've heard nothing but good things about the Mississippi Queens although I've not used them. Currently have a set of Rebel Yells which I'm trading in for some lower gain Mules.
