    Hi guys, My ibanez sr600 could do with some TLC, some small chunks have been taken out from slapping and poppin da bass near the end of the neck (see pic). Can I apply anything to preserve the body (ash)? Can any oils etc be applied to fender style painted jazz bass too to keep the paintwork in good nick?

    Yeah to be fair I think theres a fair bit of variation in playability on p necks over 25 years. Suppose it depends on the player preference. Plus its HBs take on a P.

    Guys, anyone ever play the RAY34 stealths? Andertons have nice RAY 34 w rosewood roasted maple neck and a stealth at just over a grand. I have a newer version SUB Ray and the neck profile is lovely and shallow Thanks

    Love that blue! Just stick a maple neck on it and Steve Harris the bit out Unfortunately I am in Ireland so incl postage I could prob get new cheaper online. GLWTS

    Good to hear guys. Looking to stick a fender player jazz maple neck on an imperial blue squier body. Should be straight forward enough?

    Hi lads, thread resurrection. Any (non-food related) thoughts on these? Was looking at the tidepool jazz or white squier contemporary as my next bass and wanted to compate the two.
