  5. &--#60;p&--#62;Just wanted to give a shout out to my mate Steve at Rafferty guitar pedal's, developed a cool fuzz specifically for bass based on Jaco's Acoustic 360 fuzz circuit. These usually retail at £150 but are on special offer on ebay at the moment for £125 including postage. Worth a look for Jaco heads, Steve knows his stuff and build quality and sound are top quality. Have a look for yourself on Facebook.cheersMick
  6. Thanks kiwi, think its a mark 1 alright
  7. Thanks for info guys. Think its all original, buyer didn't mention any different. Looks in good nick too. weights not an issue, could do with the workout:) keep the opinions coming:)
  8. Hi guys, lad selling this locally for £100, interested as it has 15", 12" and 8" driver and it means i can run my GK head at 4 ohms. Anyone any experience with these? cheers guys
  9. Hi guys, so i bought an LS2 to blend my clean/effects tone but could never set up my board with it without leads all over the show(like a big bowl of cable spaghetti:)) I ended up selling it on and now regret it as ive got a bass big muff that could do with clean blend. Can i run the pedal in series, do ALL the ls2 inputs and outputs have to be used i.e. Can i go muff output----ls2----amp? sorry can't be clearer about this, any help greatly appreciated cheers Mick
  10. If i didn't live in Ireland id be all over that OBC 115! Good luck with the sale.
  11. Unfortunately in too far away too(Northern Ireland to be exact;)) but have quick question, could this cab hold its own in a pub gig scenario? I'm talking rock trio with loud drums and guitars. Tempted by these but unsure if it can handle high enough volumes thanks Michael
  12. Hi guys, what's the craic with the bc212 cabs paired up? I have a gk 400rb iv head and wanna run it in 4 ohm mode for bigger gigs. Wad thinking of getting one bc212 for practice etc and another for big gigs. What is the wattage these guys can handle with two bc212 running? cheers
  13. Hi guys, was thinking if getting one of these and this thread has some great info. How does the MB series compare to the RB? Little worried bout the "digital" head aspect. Might sound silly but want to be sure before spend nearly 600 quid on this bad boy;)
  14. Thanks again guys, btw bassman, the behringer is an excellent wee pedal, for 27 quid you should snap it up. Not far off a Sansamp in a plastic box(who throws their pedals around anyways:)) back on darkglass, i guess what drew me to the b3k was the driving, agressive feel of the pedal(i love Justin chancellors sound). I play in a three piece classic rock band and if i could get agressive with useable tones, i might go for the vintage. Yes its probably overhyped and my pork loin/hardwire cm2 would do the job but my curiosity is too much!
  15. Hmm intriguing!! thanks for advice guys. Ive owned a VT bass but couldn't get on with it(i know probably the only bassist ever to say that:)) ill play the waiting game then, if i can hold on:) thanks Michael
  16. Thanks for samples Ant, in abroad at moment so internets playing up but ill give them a listen. Cheers
  17. Thanks guys, great info! Ant, thanks for the offer man but I'm in Ireland yeah i was very tempted by the vintage after hearing soundclips(especially the Tom Sawyer one:)) i like that Geddy/slightly overdriven tone. Only worry is Vintage will be too dark for me(found this with my Pork Loin although not selling it, ill find the sound for me eventually;)) The B7K is crazy money, not spending over £200 for a pedal!
  18. Hi guys, i know these pedals have been discussed before to death but in going to buy one of them soon and want to make an informed decision. Any adjectives would be great, i understand the B3K is more aggressive, metallic and bright than the darker, less gritty Vintage but any further information would be great. I'm leaning towards the B3K for the grunt setting especially. Thanks in advance, Mick
  19. Yes Danny lad! in currently gassing for the darkglass stuff and the vintage microtubes stuff sounds great for tubey goodness. I had the Dave Hall and VT pedals but found them too subtle for my tastes. But hey, what do i know, some people swear by the VT bass. Btw, well done(i suppose) on winning the league today, Chelsea ain't catching up now Mick
