1. Have 4, two fretted, two fretless, keep one fretless by the PC in the garage/studio for working stuff out, one in the living room for noodling at night time. They go to jam nights and stuff. Two fretted live in cases and get gigged every weekend, though my rickenfaker tends to get pulled out, tuned, looked at and left on the side as a spare that I haven't needed in ages. Can't get rid of it, as I spent so much money that I'll never get back putting it together, and it looks ace.
 2. http://www.sabotagetimes.com/music/how-nirvanas-nevermind-destroyed-grunge/ Anyone have a contrary opinion? Maybe?
 3.
i thought even freeview lets you get to iplayer on your tv, i know our virgin box does. p.s. loving that the youtube vid now embeds automatically!!
Not down here sadly, might do with a box that plugs into the phone line etc. but not through an aerial, or a sky box even. Unless I'm wrong, which I might be
 4.
Ahh - I'll bet you can blame PRS / mechanicals for that. Just when talent wants to be marketed liberally, their own "supporting" organisation's bureaucracy stops them Like with that stupid live music law in small venues.
Lucky that Sigur Ros/Florence and the Machine/Coldplay etc. are raking it in by being on EVERY TRAIL EVER!
 5.
Um, well, it's not pixallated but I can't see any hats. I can make out a bass, the faint outline of whom I assume is you Dave but it's all a little obscured by a sort of green mist.
Oh, that's the right one, the hat is black. Oh, and wayne, this. (Still can't embed youtube, damn it) Edit: Yes I can!
 6.
iPlayer? Hard Disc recorder? VHS recorder?(!)
Hate watching TV on computer screens, always forget to set the HDD recorder, and VHS died. As a musician I reserve the right to be massively disorganised. And they repeat everyflippingthing else (unless I want to actually watch it)
 7. must be a browser thing Am I wearing a white hat or a black hat on your screen? (this is for some reason important to me now...)
 8.
They need the few days to do the edit, pick the best performances and remove the live fluffs. I think it's best that way. Nothing worse than being in a band with one-big-3-minute-chance and fluffing it without any recourse. Funny to watch, but not so nice for the act... Having said that, I miss the utter chaos of the Tube
Okay, as long as they repeat it in the week for musicians to watch (I'm sure a lot of us are out gigging on friday nights)
 9. I myself have been pixellated to hide my true identity, maybe I am spidey...
 10. Not just spidey, a lot of us have regressed to old images as well....
 11. I rank myself in the privacy of my own home, my good man, and a pox on you for asking such filthy questions.
 12. I tuned in 'cos I wanted to watch the Duke Spirit as I really like them on the radio, bit disappointed with their set, but loved Trombone Shorty who i'd never heard, and still love Roy Harper, and Little Dragon lived up to expectations of them being great. Really good, please drop the half hour live format, and just do the 45 minute show on a tuesday and friday please.
 13.
It's strange, I love Pink Floyd, but I really don't get on with WYWH. It bores the arse off me.

Hardly a mention of Dark Side of the Moon. Its still the one Floyd album i can listen to at any time and keep going back to. It's almost 40 yrs old now and its still a contender for greatest album of all time. Animals was another great album that seems to get overlooked by many. I haven't managed to get into the solo stuff from Roger - can't explain why as i'm not specifically a Floyd officianado as such. I just liked the music. Dave
See I would swap those around, DSOTM bores the arse off me now, and I quite like WYWH, Piper at the Gates of Dawn is still my favourite however, anyway you slice it. And if I have to go post-Syd then Umma-Gumma or Meddle tend to win. Maybe I just heard Dark Side too many times....
 14. Must be a stuttery finger, meant to be £200 surely?
 15.
I've now replaced the torch in my gear bag (which my drummer had cause to use on Friday night when one of those wee foam discs from under his cymbals went awol) with a torch app on my phone. I still have the wee LED keyring as a backup though.
All this time, I've been flummering in the back of the amp unable to see, my phone has a torch in. Thanks for making me realise this. I am a tw*t.
 16.
Flushing won't help the performance problem. It's a DB thing.
That's ok then, I don't own a DB, just a couple of fretlesses, would like an EUB as well...
 17.
I bring a torch - does that make me a pansy??
I always think "bugger, should have brought a torch" when groping around in the back of the PA amps rack case. Still, at least I haven't brought one with me, I'd be a pansy.
 18. I have my GK BL600 in one of them silver boxes that people keep camera gear in, was a fiver off ebay, and with a bit of extra foam is a flipping flight case!
 19.
younger players might see 1990 as the fairly close to the beginning of time, when only dinosaurs and Dinosaur Jr roamed the earth.
Oh very good...
 20.
I used to think faster/flashier = better. My favourite Metallica bassist is probably Jason Newsted now because he supports the song, has a great tone, and great stage presence. When I was a teenager I didn't rate him quite as highly!
but is invisible in the mix on the records.... Justice has no bass....
 21.
He looks ace!
he has his moments (and just likes dressing up really)
 22. Oh hang on, here he is....
 23. I briefly worked with an attractive lady front person earlier this year. Sadly she lacked charisma or the ability to sing. Happier working with mental baldy bloke Trev (Zac Zodiac) instead thanks, no pics, can't find any.... sorry
 24.
Skid Row bass player? he's in the latest Bass Player mag incidently
Points to you Mr 73 sir.
 25.
Mind you, who wants to go on stage in their slippers?
Oh now that's a good idea....
