1. Just woke up with a mug of tea and that groove... Excellent chillout to start the day - thank you for posting,
2. not now...
Has JJ EL 34 valves.
3. OK, after clearing cache (again), normal service is resumed... stuff seems to take around two days to reappear. Thanks for the assistance
4. No luck here... no filters highlighted and no content found on any of them in any browser I try. I really would like to get this sorted - I look in daily....
5. I switched browser and everything is fine again, From Aurora to chrome (IE9 works also) - new content options have been missing since yesterday using Mozilla Aurora.... Edit Chrome has gone the same way now - I really, really don't want to use Internet explorer even for just this site......
6.
In recent days, every time I click 'View new Content' in the usual fashion, I keep getting 'No new content found', and have to go to individual forums to find the new stuff. I can't figure what's going on here, and can't get it back the way it was.
This has just happened to me... I can't use any other new content options either! Quite frustrating to navigate atm - ideas anyone?
7.
I have a Mexican Tele STD in Blue Agave which I will let go for 250.
maple board? - pics?
8. I'm pretty sure that'll be out of my price range ,unfortunately - but thanks for the offer (unless you want to let it go for around £250- which is the budget I have to work around)
9. Not a bass, but... I am looking for a lefty Squier CV Tele - thought I might try to find second hand before I go the full price route....
10. split the MIDI (keyboard 's' will split at the cursor) into a separate item - the changes will only affect that item and not repeat.
11.
are those Tokais that good then.. never played one... Japanese i take it? heard lots about them
Yup! Bought mine in '89 - wouldn't dream of letting it go....
12. Excellent! Great performance from all of you - where can I hear more?
13.
My way of doing a nut is to put a capo on the third position and look for light under the string at the first fret then tap down on the string and listen for the click and adjust till it almost dissapears..
This... no click - raise the nut. Any discernable play before the click - cut the slot or dress the bottom of the nut.
14. I enjoyed that - well done all... I used to play bass in a trio - the luxury of playing without a deafening drummer and bieng able to hear my amp was a joy! Honesty you asked for... I found your bass tone a little too muddy and indistnict for this type of gig TBH... IME I did find that I had to think differently about my bass tone - as I was hanging in guitar/vox territory instead of down with the drums, I found a less bassy, more defined tone worked better for a cohesive sound that helped put the guitar and bass together in 'the pocket'. Just a suggestion tho' Thanks for posting
15. 'kin spendid tune! Made me grin - Thanks very much!
16. How about a P and a J from GFS maybe? I have used many of their guitar pickups over the years and have always been more than impressed.. 17. lighter fuel cleans well also... any solvent should do the trick used with a plastic scraper and a lint free cloth. You might find the sticked areas darker when cleaned due to sunlight fading the rest
18.
Firewire is a standard so all such cards should do the same basic thing. They also all use the same basic interface chips. Besides, how much risk is there in buying a £3 card?
If the £3 card has a TI or VIA chip then great - go for it.. You can find cheap cards with these chipsets and I know from experiece I can software monitor with a round trip of 4 -5 ms using either of these cards. Whereas a Ricoh chipset won't even continuosly stream without dropouts - again IME
19. Anything based on a TI (Texas Instruments) chipset is preferable - VIA will do at a push... These are the only 2 worth considering for audio, as far as I know.
20. Colour me interested.. I'm in East Northants - so Midlands or London/outskirts is good for me I can bring my '82 Tokai Jazz (my one and only bass).

22. Red5 audio sell a cracking pair of studio 'phones for little money....http://www.red5audio.com/acatalog/Accessories.html
23. It's sure to work with Reaper - download here... http://www.cockos.com/reaper/download.php Down and install > open program> options> preferences > audio> device> set audio system to ASIO and input/output to lexicon> click ASIO configuration button to set buffer as low as you can get away with (without any glitches, popos, crackles, etc). Go to insert>track when track appears click the red circular button to arm recording> click record button on main transport bar to record. good luck HTH
