1.
no where round here will get one in unless I order it myself
I can't say we'd be any different, but I can tell you that we'd try our best to beat any price you get for this. If you do happen to be local enough to us to be able to visit, I can have a word with Laney to see if we can borrow one for you, though I can't make any promises.
2. It's a great bit of kit and a real head-turner! We've got them on a mega-deal right now at just £99 including delivery. Anyone interested in this offer should call us on 01923 841 271 as it's not available online.
3. We've got the original Boss power supply for the GT6B in stock. You can purchase it on our website here: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/boss-brc230-1198-p.asp
4. We will be adding Aguilar pedals to our inventory within the next few months. Keep your eyes peeled!
5.
We've got Source Audio pedals in stock but have been told by our rep that the bass distortion is not shipping in the UK yet. I'll check again with him tomorrow and post here if they're available.
Just got off the phone to him and they've literally just arrived with him. I've placed our order and the units should be with us tomorrow. We've got both the Soundblox version and the Pro version of the Bass Multiwave Distortion coming in as well as of the Classic Distortion which is also new out. If any Basschatters are interest in trying these out, you can do so in our shop. Anyone wanting to order them, until the website it updated, please call us on 01923 841 271.
6. We've got Source Audio pedals in stock but have been told by our rep that the bass distortion is not shipping in the UK yet. I'll check again with him tomorrow and post here if they're available.
7. The LH500 is a great head offering exceptional value for money. If you do decide to go for one, we would be more than happy to supply at preferential rates for Basschatters. Feel free to get in touch. Richard
8. I can confirm that the SR600 is indeed available in the UK. It's a new model this year and, as has been stated, is identical to the SR500 other than the woods. If you're interested, we're happy to supply Basschatters at very competitive prices. Richard
9. We will have the full range of Aguilar pedals in stock from August.
10. Morley have the ABC Guitar Selector but this simply selects the guitar and there is no way to adjust the volume of that guitar on the switcher. If it's of any use to you, we do have it in stock.
11. We have the Studio 110 in stock and, as a member of Basschat, we'd love to look after you. Other alternatives would be the EBS Classic Session 60 which we also have in stock or, as has been mentioned, Hartke which we can supply too. Feel free to get in touch and we can quote you prices which you should find very competitive. Richard
12.
Richard is on BC as well - i think as MindGoneBlank - I could be wrong though. They're great guys, I might hook up with them on my next day off/free saturday Definitely gonna give the MXR a go, I've currently got a boomstick bottom feeder, but I think something a bit more tweakable would be more up my street.
Look forward to seeing you soon Theo! Richard
13. Both the DTR1000 and DTR2000 have been discontinued as you say and there is no replacement for either in the medium term. We took all remaining stock from Korg ourselves as these have been good sellers for us. There won't be any clearance deals on these as they're selling through well. All stock of the DTR1000 has already gone so we've only got the DTR2000's left. It's a complete mystery why Korg have deleted them. I have spoken to our rep about this at great length as it makes little sense to me. If there was a new model around the corner, I didn't want us to be stuck with a load of the old model. I sought reassurances on this before committing to a volume of stock so am confident we won't see a new rack tuner from Korg for at least 12 months if at all.
14. Take a look through our clearance basses (links below in the signature). Depending on exactly what you wanted, we could sort you out a giggable bass and amp brand new within your £400 budget.
15. For the money, the Bad Monkey works extremely well on bass. Yes, it can be improved by modding, but it's still a good pedal in its standard tune. I happen to know that the Digitech distributor has no stock of Bad Monkeys right now as we've just taken the last ones! We've also got most of the other pedals mentioned above in stock.
16. As mentioned on the other thread, we have the Laney RB9 in stock and available for demo. If required, we can also supply Hartke. We're happy, where we can, to offer special prices to the Basschat community.
17. We have the Laney RB9 in stock. It does offer a load of features for the money and it sounds ridiculously good considering the price. You'd be welcome to come and try it out in-store. We'd be happy to do a special deal to Basschatters.
18.
hi Richard / Jim, hoped you'd chime in here! do you also have the other new mxr stuff? looking to head up your way soon, and spend some time playing with loads of your stock- definitely including this!
Hi Dude, We've got the Micro Chorus, Zakk Wylde Chorus, Custom Comp and Way Huge Aqua Puss in. We're still waiting for the Micro Flanger, Phase 45 and Volume Pedal. These are due in the second week of June. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Richard
19. We've got it in stock. We got some from the first shipment and they arrived with us this week. It really is a fantastic pedal. Aside from sounding great, it also overcomes two of the major problems associated with envelope filters on bass, namely low end loss and volume jumps. The 'Dry' and 'FX' knobs act as volume controls for dry and effected signal respectively. When both are at minimum, the signal is muted. Having the Dry signal blended with the FX signal results in all your low end being retained. And, by adjusting the two controls together, not only can you get the perfect blend between the two, you can also set the volume of the effect whether you want that to be the same level as when the pedal is bypassed or whether you want a bit of a boost. It's a really funky bit of kit. Very easy to get lots of good sounds. And it's purple - what more do you want?!! Anyone near to the shop is welcome to come in and audition it. Here it is on our EffectPowerSupplies.com website: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/mxr-bas...lter-1207-p.asp
20. As others have said, the Tech 21 VT Bass is a great pedal for this sort of sound. I'd also suggest trying the EBS Valvedrive. Richard
21. Have you seen our clearance basses? We've got the Vintage V1004 in there at a ridiculously low price. Vintage: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=82274 Aria: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=82275 Washburn: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=86291
22. Hi, sorry for the late reply. We've had a few new things in, though it's hard to remember what's come in when! We've had a large delivery from Devi Ever which we'd be waiting a long time for. We also have received more of the Homebrew Electronics Frostbite Flangers amongst others. We have the Electro Harmonix Ring Thing and the Deluxe Memory Boy both in stock. Amp wise, as well as the Ibanez Promethean you tried last time, we've also got the EBS Session 60 which is a great bit of kit. We're expecting the new MXR pedals, including the Bass Envelope Filter, within the next couple of weeks. We've also got the new Digitech Jamman Solo and Jamman Stereo arriving the week after next. Aside from things relevant to bass, we have the Boss VE20 and the ME25 in stock which are new releases. Lots of other goodies also on their way! I'm not around on Monday as I have a rare day off! Jim will be there to help you with anything you need. I'll see you on your next visit! Cheers, Richard
23. +1 on the Ibanez Promethean. We have it in stock if you want to give us a shout. You don't mention your budget but it fits your requirements down to a tee. Richard
24. Glad to hear that those that have tried them are liking the Promethean. We have these in stock and think they're fantastic amps. While I can't promise that we'll match the Thomann price, if anyone is interested and mentions Basschat, then I'm sure we can have a sensible conversation. Richard
25. I'm unsure whether you're after longer cables from the power brick or whether you just want extension cables. Either way, we have both in stock here: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/21mm-ja...-cable-37-p.asp and here: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/21mm-ex...-cable-11-p.asp I hope that helps. Richard
