I think the full fat Attitudes have a chunkier neck. This one doesn't feel greatly different to the neck on my Sandberg TT. Pretty slim basically, not quite Jazz bass but pretty close.

Unlike you, I have no shame Karl. The refin is actually better than described in the listing. It is starting to rub off in places but I'm not particularly bothered about that.

Just picked this up from EvilBay (from a guy who turned out to be a real star and definitely a seller I would buy from again of anything turned up that interested me). I have been wanting to own one of these for a while but always seem to either miss out or not have the funds at the moment when they appear. This one was originally Sea Foam Green but was re-finished by the owner in Lava Red. He has had it from new so I am in effect the second owner. Overall in great condition for a bass that has been used regularly over it's life. At some point it might need a new harness but everything else seems spot on. Will do some better pics in due course.

I would also agree. I much prefer my TT to the TM and Darkhawk. It fits in better with the music I play.

Also worth checking with Mark at Classic and Cool for any purchases, I've always had great service and very competitive prices from him.

On mine it is definitely a tone control in passive mode. From the centre detente turning anti clock that is (as if you're cutting treble boost).
-
Have you tried the bass in passive mode and rolled the tone off a bit? I have a California II Central with the Sandberg 3-band EQ which I imagine is what is fitted onto your Basic and that has the volume pull up for passive and the treble control then acts as the tone knob. I find that really warms up the tone..

Grizzly Bear pedal maybe?

I have a TT4 passive (the yellow TSBS artist roadworn one) and it's a cracking bass.

I use mine in a Dad rock covers band and an originals band that I'd say has a splash of Indie/Folk/Country in it. No issues at all.

Just purchased a softcase from Si. Great purchase at a very good price, thanks very much. Si also took the trouble to travel to meet up half way and this was much appreciated. Had a good chat, what a nice guy. Thanks again.

Jon just acquired some pickups from me. The easiest of easy transactions, thanks very much. Highly recommended BCers.

Forgot to say that if you're anywhere nearby you're most welcome to try it out.

Liking it a lot TBH. It's also really nice to have a passive option with the treble knob acting as a tone. Still messing with the 3-band EQ to find may favourite couple of settings but looking very promising. Itching to be able to record it properly at band practice so I can listen back. Sadly the rehersal last week was in a tiny room with wooden floors so the recording were not great.

Sanberg Central, best of both worlds.

Here a few songs that we are working up. It's original material and there are still a few lumps to iron out but I've tried to pick songs where there is a bit more bass activity. I've been running the bass with neck p/up at 100%, bridge p/up at about 75% and tone at about 67%. We Are The Sun.mp3 I'll Love You For Now.mp3 Rhythm Of The Rails.mp3

Ooh, sorry, will attend to that. Taking it to band tonight with a recording device
