1. The blue connector looks to be a 16A out, the cable to the left of it will almost certainly be a 16A in. Just stage power, bigger gigs try to avoid 13A plugs as much as possible. The in and out will just mean they can daisy chain all the amp racks off one supply if needed. They're called CEEFORM's as mentioned before. The bigger cables become loads of fun, 125A three phase - the cable is about an inch in diameter. Needs two people to carry a 10m length of cable!
  2. Bottom one is just a power distro. The top one I think is some kind of enhancer/processor. Kinda like a Sonic Maximiser type affair. Not sure of the exact unit though.

    Octave pedal

I've got an OC3, sounds pretty mint. Not a great fan of the glitching on the oc2 mode, but then I guess thats why you buy the oc2. I do like the different modes though, the distortion one sounds really good, nice and soft/growly rather than harsh and cutting. The poly mode is good for just straight octave that doesn't glitch too.
  5.
is that the one with built in distortion? andy
Yea, and fuzz. Easy to turn off though.
  6.
hi guys! my crybaby died yesterday, and i have a gig on the 30th, so not got alot of time to hang around but i want to get something decent! ive thought of another 105q but i really wasnt overly in love with it i just really liked the way you didnt have to turn it on! you can just stand on it! ive used a morley dual bass wah in the passed and felt it wasnt really all that great! ive been looking on line and am wondering if i got a second hand boss auto wah and then got the expression pedal is this like having a wah? so i can sweep it with my foot? or does it just change a setting there are no videos that i can find? im thinking also having an auto wah could be quite nice on some of our funkier numbers! andy
I've got a Boss PW10 that I don't use anymore, if you fancy it? Never been a fan of wah really, I just liked it for the rotovibe and resonance settings.

    Bass Chorus

The sound when they're on is fine, if often see people with them and they buzz/hum really badly when bypassed. Also the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. If you could stretch an extra tenner get an old EHX Small Clone, great pedal, great sound. I loves mine. Or get this one if you go quickly. 9. Bought a WH Swollen Pickle. Great communication, prompt shipping and very well packaged. Thanks a lot!

    Consensus on Tuning

Wherever it fits nicest. I learnt not to care about such things. As long as all the effects before it are off when you're tuning it shouldn't matter.
  11.
I'm in the "love it" camp. TIM
So was I 'til I saw the headstock. Wow. Still kinda want it though.
  12. Not to be rude, but don't you try to sell this off every 6 months or so? Sure I've seen it on other forums several times before?
  13.
I had the Big Spider and returned it. It has a really brash top end and no tone control to filter it out, it also drops a lot of low end. I bet it would sound awesome into a cranked tube amp into a vintage style cab, but not through a clean solid state rig or with tweeters! The Way Huge Swollen Pickle is supposed to be awesome on bass too, after the internal controls have been adjusted for maximum awesomeness.
I probably wouldn't like it then. Problem I'm having is I have the treble cranked quite a bit on my sansamp but i I like my fuzz to be more wall of bass kinda thing. Yea, the way huge one was another I was looking at. Also tempted by a Musket since someone's selling one on here. Or might go for the Bass Muff and mod it the same as yours. Argh, decisions.
  14. TRY BUYING ONE OF THESE
  15. Got any pictures? What's it like on bass? Anything else you're interested in trades-wise?
  16. Had a search but can't really find anything definitive. I need a new muff type fuzz, and I'm kinda torn between the Wicker Muff and the Bass Muff. Anyone had experience with both? I'm currently using a Fuzzhugger ABSynth but it's just far too OTT for just straight up dirty sounds. Any other suggestions while I'm looking at muffs? Not really bothered about much of a clean blend as long as there's good bottom end, or a tone control. Then I started looking at the Verellen Big Spider too, but it's a bit pricey . . .
  17.
Hi all, Just a quick one I need a noise suppressor on 2 of my pedals..I have seen you tube clips etc..I like the fact that you can loop just a couple of pedals with the Boss..it doesn't look like you can do that with the decimator.. So the question is... Is that right? If you can't just loop certain effects with the decimator is it worth the extra money? What are your opinions on the better pedal with regards to which holds the tone better? Thanks
The Boss is better. For the looping, the added control over the gating, extra DC out. Don't think there's any real difference tone-suck wise. Definitely go for the Boss.
  18. Your jokes are getting pretty PUNishing.
Here is an interview I did with John Davis http://www.tonefactor.com/blog/2010/07/22/...davis-of-nerve/ Plenty of pics and info on his gear
That is forking awesome. Not heard of them before, spending alot more time with my FM4 and OC3 now though.

Try and find a Programmable Sansamp Bass Driver. 3 channels, mines on all the time, just on different channels for different sounds.
  21.
What's in the top right?
FuzzHugger ABSynth. Very nasty sounding glitchable fuzz, hence why I need something a bit softer like a muff.
  22. Just done. Just need to sort out the power supplies and get a Muff of some sort to fill that gap, not yet decided on which one though.
