  2. Ok Ta! Just for the record I haven't been practicing for 50 years, yet. I guess that there maybe a modicum of hope then.
  3. Can extensive practice ever make up for lack of talent? If I practiced for 50 years, would I ever be as good as Jaco was after one?
  4. I would get on my knees and bow before this amp.. Alas, I am skintypoos...
  5. My Fender Jazz bass bridge has no recesses for the grub screws to sit in so the barrels can wander about on the plate. Which means that they can vibrate against each other. I got around this problem on a previous bass by sticking Blu-tack in between the barrels. But on a Fender?

  9. My Jazz, with the bent bit of tin, buzzes when I pick/pluck the G string... It is doing my nut. I used to use blutack in between the barrels on my cheap Aria, But on a fender? Ta!

  12. Welcome dood!! Loving the black basses.....
  13. I have a black fender MIM Jazz bass RW, with a white scratch plate. I think it looks like a killer whale so I am going to change the scratch plate to a nice new shiny black one. Now, Do I purchase a nice chrome bridge cover and middle pickup cover to complete the transformation? Oooh, how do I screw the bridge cover on? Do I screw it straight through the lacquer?
