2.
Cool, whatever gets you the right noise eh! Have you kept the lakky stock or changed any bits matey? I know some have swapped all the electrics but I kinda like mine as is...
Mine is how it is.. I've got a couple older laklands, with Bartolini pickups.. and a couple newer with "lakland" pick ups which are actually made from Hanson guitars.. when they bought lakland a year or so ago. but yeh on that vid im using a standard Skyline 55-01, love them!
3.
Your usual Lakky Phil? With a pick?
Usual Lakky indeed.. Just a 55-01 and yes. on this i am using a pick and Guitar Distortion pedal, EQ and COMP. (just incase anyone cares) thanks guys! don't really post TV stuff up here.. nice that its well received
4.
Completely "live"? Edit to say, I don`t actually care how live it is. I personally think it`s harder swinging a click driven song, so kudos.
yeh all live. bv's on track though
5. Never done this show before.. so this was a first.. hope you all dig. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78Pn5RNVK4E
6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBHidxft8hI just a little thing i did last night when i was bored. mainly to try out different camera/edits but i'll share with y'all.
7. I use a Cannon SLR 600d and sometimes with the 550d It's all good. syncing music with video is easy enough.. these camera's are the cheaper in the SLR range.. recommend a 50mm lense. but the standard ones that come with it are cool.
8. http://youtu.be/joncDaL8i30 A little video/Live Arrangement from W3 (Youtube.com/w3tvonline ) (Twitter @w3official ) It's not stuff we normally do as "W3" but most of the guys all do pop stuff, it's a bit spontaneous hope you enjoy! Phil

13. yes jake!! nice one on the gaia.. if im honest.. Pop gigs nowadays dont come about unless you can play synth bass.. and also program/edit your own sounds.. to match the bass stems on the recoed.. The Roland Gaia is a great VA synth.. mono and polyphonic.. Little phatty is also a great 2 oscillator synth but a mono analog synth is going to have more depth with the sounds it creates.. than various VA's depends how specific you want to be.. with the sounds your creating.. and what your wanting to do with a synth.. but dont knock synth bass.. all of MJ, Prince.. and various Stevie wonder is all on synth.. its been pretty integral in the last 20/30 years to the development of bass playing, harmonically, melodically and sonically
14. For you london musicians... check the vid if ya dig come down n play!!! W3 MUSIC LIVE YOUTUBE VID
