1. 2nd cabinet bought from Chris. Arranged to be dropped off near me due to some work his company had on. Great pleasant transaction as before. No worries here

3. Is it not a Sunn 300 or whatever they are called?

6. Very tentative feeler to gauge interest:- Here we have an Ashdown DP200H – a 200w all valve UK built amp. Serial number dates this to 2008. It is in immaculate condition with no knocks, dings, scuffs or scrapes. The chrome and black exterior combined with the visible glowing quad of caged 6550 valves looks stunning. Its clearly taken a few design tips from the old Ampeg B15 heads. It was re-valved in May this year with a matched set of 4 x Harma Retro 6550 valves. The pre-amp consists of a JJ ECC83 and a JJ ECC82. There is a further JJ ECC83 driver valve that sits in between the 6550's. I bought this as I feel 200w valve wise is just right. Enough headroom but also you can drive the power valves to get the sweet tone without flattening small cities. The big plus here is that the lack of a traditional wooden case/sleeve means this is probably the lightest 200w valve amp out there – it feels lighter than my Hartke HA5500 in wooden case! The amp runs at 200w via ¼" jacks at either 4, 8 or 16ohm so should be able to power most of the commonly seen cabs. It comes with the original box, manual & kettle lead. Viewings and trials are more than welcome and initially this is offered as a 'collection only' from Bolton. I can deliver within reasonable distance. As above this is very much a feeler to gauge interest and see if my idea of pricing is correct. I have yet to line up a replacement amp and so as such im setting it at £875.00. The ONLY trade/part-ex deal I would consider would be an Ampeg V4BH with cash my way Pictures will be served forthwith

10. Taking overs of over £100 now, had a call to say my new cab is available, havent squared it with the wife yet
11. Yup, always my first choice. Waaaaaaay better than Roqsolid stuff that gets recomended on here
12. Hmmm, any idea of postage cost then? Very tempted
13. Ashdown RM-414 MAG Cab – Essentially a 450w sealed 4ohm 4x10 cab. Has had the Ashdown Wings logo replaced with a black and chrome version but both will be supplied with sale. There are also a couple of tiny screw marks in the top left corner of the front grill where it looks like a badge or something was attached previously. I have currently got the tweeter disconnected (I prefer tweeterless cabs) but is an easy job to get it connected and I can do it for any buyer who wants. Comes with removable castors and is pretty lightweight so moving isn’t a problem. Takes Neutrik or Jacks and is rated at 450w. One slight tolex nick on the back but other than that it is is great condition. 4ohms gets the full juice from your amp and being sealed it sounded great with my Ashdown DP200 valve amp. Due to size and lack of packing materials it is collection only from Bolton. I can potentially deliver within reasonable distance for petrol cash so let me know. £150 Cash sale or will part ex for an Ampeg 410he Pics to Follow asap
14. obligatory ''if you were closer id probably have this'' post GLWTS
15. Around 2yrs ago i bought an Epiphone Rivoli (90's reissue) complete with Hardcase from Bass Gallery's website for £250 delivered. To this day i dont know if that was a typo or not but for what it was it was bloody cheap!
16. I know they have a good rep on here but limelights relicing looks awful to me. So unrealistic and akin to that welsh guy on ebay who buys squires and attacks them with a sander. Ive never played one but purely on looks they look amateur relicing wise. That black/tort jazz on the website - looks not in the slightest bit genuine
17. Flats on everything for me. Picato's on the P bass for a lovely pillowy thump sat just undet the mix Pyramid Golds on the Casady for big bastard thump but that very slighty brittleness that cuts through brilliantly
