    Accidentally bought this over the weekend, it arrived today. Very impressive little thing.

    Accidentally bought this on eBay over the weekend. Very impressed with it, though the 18-fret fingerboard may take some getting used to! Pickups very punchy, nice variation with the tone, not as heavy as some reviews had suggested. Happy days!

    Having now watched the full video, I have to say they sound very impressive as PA speakers. Didn’t expect that.

    In my day job if someone came to me and told me a product had failed several years beyond its warranty, I doubt I’d consider the need to ask for it back*. As @Dan Dare has said, components wear out and fail and there’s no way of knowing how it’s been used over the years. *That said, there was one occasion when a customer couldn’t understand why I didn’t need the gauge back despite their photos of it crushed under a forklift 🤣

    This is pretty much one of the “top of the list” Lionel specs I’d go for. If my Finn 5 sells… maybe!

    I think for me it’s about balance and use. Spotify is useful for creating a playlist of songs to learn by artists I wouldn’t normally listen to. 25+ years ago I had to buy countless CDs to do the same. All the artists I listen to I will always buy physical media and t shirts, gig tickets etc, and I will use Spotify in the car.

    Playing at the Honky Tonk Collective in Poole with Katy Hurt - so we’ve learned some covers to splash through the set alongside her originals. Some fun basslines in there (Life Is A Highway by Rascal Flats for example). I believe we’ll be done by 10pm so I might just about make it to the party Mrs Mert will be at by about 00.30am 1/1/25 😆

    I think 90% of us on here can say joining was our downfall 😆 Id been very happy either way a Fender Jazz and late-90s Trace Elliot rig til I came here, and since then things seem to come and go with alarming regularity. Back OT, I am hoping that in 2025 I’ll only have 2 5ers in my collection, a fretless and a sexy new ACG. Worst case I’ll have two ACG 5s but the rest will all be 4s
