I genuinely don't get the lack of mids thing, there are plenty on offer with the 12" cabs!

Great day, thanks all. I'm one who was mighty impressed with Mick's little package (ahem, that's the second time I've made that terrible joke today) and now have to have willpower to stop myself phoning Bass Direct! Davey Rimmer was a lovely bloke and I thoroughly enjoyed his talk, sadly I missed Mr Lawson as I was busy comparing my ACG with many Spectors and checking out the wonderful creations of Mr orangefriday - especially the PacMan LEDs! Darren Reddick was a lovely guy and had some really interesting stories to tell, but he didn't like my ACGs so that's a black mark Off to a gig now, looking forward to next year already

I've always been the worst player in (what I consider to be) good bands. It's great as it keeps me on my toes and makes sure I don't rest on my laurels. I'm still sh*t, but it's nice to get asked back!

If you use one 1x15 cab it's a single 8 ohm load so the amp will output around 300W. Using both gives you a 4 ohm load and the full power output. If you get a 4 ohm 4x10 will give you full power into the one cab, but it will be the only cab you can use as adding other cabs will lower the impedance and the RM head won't like that.

Mine is just my nickname and has been for longer than I care to remember. It stuck so I made it my Interwebnet alter ego when I went to university, which was longer ago that I care to remember 🤓

I'm so close to pulling the trigger on a Two10, I just can't decide on impedance. 4 ohms gives me a 3x10 rig at 2.66 ohms - which my ABM is capable of even if it doesn't say so - and this would be a perfect split of power across the 2:1 speaker ratio. 12 ohms gives an impedance mismatch with the One10 getting more power than the Two10, but it keeps above the recommended min 4 ohms of the ABM and also offers the change to get another one (or two!) Two10 cab in the future, should the need arise. It's unlikely to arise but you ever know... Hmm.
