1. Bump. Trades for any of the following plus cash my way would be considered: Barefaced One10 Fender MIJ Medium Scale Jazz Status Groove Ashdown CTM30 / Little Bastard
2.
Vettel
3. Here we go, new photos! pictures!
4. Hmm, must upload the latest pics. Meanwhile, er, bump. £1050 collected or £1075 delivered to mainland UK. Price includes Hiscox case and spare set of ACG/Newtone strings. This is on Facebook for £1100 collected, I had some interest which then dropped off the face of the earth so it's renewed my desire to see her go to a good home.
5.
I've emailed my contact, Mark Gooday, inviting him to join...
The head honcho, possibly one of the nicest blokes in the business and always happy to answer my stupid questions
6. Mark Gooday shared a pic of it on Facebook on Wednesday. I can't seem to link it here though 🤔
7. Lulu and her band played at an event I played at a few years ago. They were bloody superb, I felt like a massive fraud being the band having to follow them!
8.
That was a 2U & not put into production
Yup. But I still think this new one is related to it and possibly linked
9. I think it's a special Geezer Butler signature head
10. Looks superb!
11. Superb
12. I have a feeling the original 12 ohm cab and 4 ohm cab have the same driver but with different impedances, but I could be wrong and it doesn't really answer how the switch works. (Remember the 10" driver was originally developed for a 4 ohm 6x10, hence it's a non standard impedance).
13.
Picked up in GB Music in Bognor Regis today. I've never spent £250 more willingly.
Not enough green there
14. Some of these prices were clearly cooked up by the same people who came up with the new Trace Elliot cab pricing structure. Wow 😳
15.
I'll bring them again
Good man
16.
Good time had, even though I didn't manage to get around to checking out Cetera's Future Impact, The Greeks Elf, Ped's Wingbass (need to hook it up to a GR unit next time!), and generally try all the sexy basses that were about. Next year!
And I completely failed to try your Shukers. Again. 😶
17.
Are they designed/intended to be used together (like the original Compact and Midget)? And do you use them like that?
They're not designed to be used like that but they do work very well together IMO
18.
Mike Brooks gigged his a couple of weeks ago and had nothing but praise for it. To the extent that I'm considering one.
This, and from playing with Mick's on Saturday, are making me seriously consider one. It's my birthday next week so perhaps I'll treat myself!
19. I'd like to come clean and say now that I'm no longer an ex-Barefaced user. My rig now consists of a Super Compact and One10 and I couldn't be happier. I'm an ex-ex-Barefaced user 😎
20.
Trade for a Trace Elliot Elf???
21. I genuinely don't get the lack of mids thing, there are plenty on offer with the 12" cabs!
22.
And elected...
No idea who you're talking about Bill (There's at least three on this side of the pond as well.....) Ahem, sorry, strayed into an off topic subject we're not allowed to discuss!
23. Forgot to say, massive thanks to Nik, Colin Chris and Silvia and anyone else involved in organising yesterday, it was a cracker!
24. Great day, thanks all. I'm one who was mighty impressed with Mick's little package (ahem, that's the second time I've made that terrible joke today) and now have to have willpower to stop myself phoning Bass Direct! Davey Rimmer was a lovely bloke and I thoroughly enjoyed his talk, sadly I missed Mr Lawson as I was busy comparing my ACG with many Spectors and checking out the wonderful creations of Mr orangefriday - especially the PacMan LEDs! Darren Reddick was a lovely guy and had some really interesting stories to tell, but he didn't like my ACGs so that's a black mark Off to a gig now, looking forward to next year already
