4. Price drop to £120 Hello all, Any interest in an Epiphone EB3 in cherry red? Comes with hardcase, it also has a SG humbucker neck PU upgrade. It comes with the original mudbucker too. Bought off BC, strap thingy moved to the horn.
5. The Dimazio site did the same, sounds like i need a bit of understanding help me out...
6.
He added a certain "I don't know what" imo.
he didn't know what either…
7. He got further than me in success, but so has Trump, and he has a mosaic on Facebook of as headshot made entirely of Be***nds. Its not what you got, its how you exploit it….
8. OK, looks like i need a new set of pickups in my Warwick SS2, thought it was the preamp, WD music in kent took a look and worked it out to be the bridge PU. its an '87 so has the original active EMGs, i want to replace like for like, as this may not happen, i have looked around other options (and from web information on web forums) decided Bartolini would be a good choice. However, Im finding their website a little confusing!!!! they are stating that all their PU's are passive, however, various forum threads state they can be used. How does that work? I even called EMG in california today, got straight through (great), but had a little trouble with the dead pan attitude (not so great), probably me. Opinions on best choice for an '87 Warwick SS2 would also be welcomed!

10. If I have to change it, I'd like something that has tight lows no harsh mids and naturally some top, I like to keep it two band. Any suggestions? I have heard good things from the tone pump, just not sure whats best as I never experiment with preamps. Maybe I should!
11. Thanks chaps, so not too clued up on this type of thing, if my pickups are active, does the affect the type of preamp I need to get?
12. Hello all, I have an 87 stage 2 streamer, the preamp is faulty as there is pretty bad signal interference. I do not think it is the pots, I believe it is the actual preamp circuit, the little black box with the gain pot. It has the EMG pickups. Are these preamps available still? If not, what can I change it for that will keep the sound authentic? I preamp appears to be a sealed unit, so presume not repairable. Your opinions and previous experience would be much appreciated!!! Thanks, Andrew
13. Welcome, from a fellow lurker (as yet to do an intro)!

15. Damn they were good, not a weak link amongst them. Well thought out gig, tight as the tightest thingy you could imagine! As for bass, sat in the mix beautifully, tasteful licks and nailed a great sound out of a series of p basses. Only one without a solo spot mind. Any others there? thoughts?
16. thats nice, not knowing much about spectors... is it an NT? tonepump preamp? hz humbuckers?
