3. jajake has just purchased my bass collection 4 string, great comms and hassle free payment. a longtime lurker in BC, he has just decided to become a member. i would certainly be happy to deal with again.
 4. my best mate took up guitar at 14, i decided to join him thinking two less strings would be easier, best decision i ever made!!! 😃 i doubt i would have stayed interested in guitar this long.... in fact, bass playing, although im nothing special, is one of the things that has been a constant for the last 22 years, i cant see id quit now!
 5.
Well seasoned hardened cynic of gigging in London here. Be prepared to do all the promotion and legwork yourselves, expect your fan base to travel with and then play to just them as the 'promoter' has booked 4 bands from opposite ends of the country, the other bands won't have the courtesy to watch you and then the venue will have a go at you for not being a big enough draw after you've taken a day off work, paid the congestion charge, God knows what for parking, food and drink and you could play your local to the same crowd without the wallet rape and overwhelming sense of your soul evaporating. But it works for some.....
haha! thats exactly how i found it, had to argue with some tw#t once at the borderline to get back in a retrieve my bass! "you'l never play here again...." like i care.....
 6.
Not even heard of them, will have a search on google later and check them out.
defo worth a look Gary, im glad they are back again..

 10. I was in a covers band once that played what I think are complete rotters... Cant Get You Outta my Head Rock dj Life is a roller coaster Livin la vida loca Even though I hated them, it paid the bills for a while. I drew the line at hero by that Iglesias fella. I remember a big stand off between myself and the singer because I refused to play it, stubborn as singers are, he went on to do it solo with a keyboard. Rotten veg was thrown.
 11. Rus sold me an eb-3 and delivered it to kent from milton keynes, what a top fella! also had a coffee and talked bass, nice to meet you!

 14.
Did you bring a beach towel?
Yep and some really tight '80s speedos. They are so tight, I'm hoping to prevent the third impregnation of my wife (she has other ideas). 😃
