  1. Only just spotted this post, y’know what, I was in Norfolk last week on holiday, instead of buying a couple of shirts and shorts I could have snaffled the head 🤷‍♂️..
  2. Bought Paul’s X3, well wrapped up in bubble wrap, obviously a bubble wrap shareholders dividend paid in product 🤗. Good comms, great guy to deal with a ***** deal
  3. My enthusiasm for Warwick started when I saw Doug Wimbish play a Streamer cicely 1989 up in Aberdeen. Prompted me to buy an ‘88 Thumb, sadly sold last year. GLWTS , good price for this iconic bass.
  4. I was really enthusiastic when I got this, downloaded the easy to use Software, played with it, moved things around, used it for 3 or 4 rehearsals. Thing is, my MARKBASS EVO 1 has presets and efx that can be used from a foot-switch. Less complicated, it is beyond me to have the patience to fine tune the beast. £110.00 including delivery (I can deliver in Leicester) or Collect. Shame I did rather think I could tame it. 🤷‍♂️ https://zoomcorp.com/en/gb/multi-effects/bass-effects/b3n/ Thanks for looking. Snaps to follow There is no Velcro on the unit I fastened it to the Pedaltrain with heavy duty elastic bands. Boxed, I run it off a Volto rechargeable which I can throw into the mix! With PSU
  5. Bought Bills Wav 5, straight forward transaction, conducted outside Bass Directs gaff in Warwick. Amusing or what? Good comms, great guy, swapped life histories over a coffee. ***** what’s not to like
  6. What speakers are in this gem?
  7. I can reiterate all those sentiments, great gig, Chucks bass playing was perfect. I knew most of the tunes, Pick up the pieces highlighted the Sax player. Maybe a tad of Little Feat in future. It was a great gig.
  8. The time has come. I would like to go 34” 5 string, this is a tad too long. Due to illness this lay unused during 2020, 2021, pulled out of retirement the back end of 2022, used for the odd rehearsal. There are no marks that I can see. I will post additional snaps later. The last price I saw on this particular model circa £2,000 +. Thanks for looking
  9. I will be there as well! Best say hello 🤗 Brian (Oldman)
  10. and is it a full neck thru? The five retaining Bolts/screws are the clue.
  11. Bought an Acoustic Bass from Stuart, arrived intact, Prompt comms, excellent packing. ***** What’s not to like?
  12. You kept that gem hidden Chay, lovely Bass
  13. It was, 3 years ago, super bass, 34” and a bit mid to high frequency range for me, but it looked great with the DR’s.
