  6. Mmmm, I love the idea of matching basses, Fretless and fretted, same colour, spec, twins. These basses would rip my wallet of the thick end of grand. But, 34”, a bit of negativity. So, I have a Peavey Cirrus, I tried to chase down a matching bass I could de fret. So what I did do was buy a Peavey ‘grind’, more or less the same spec as my cirrus, I will have it defretted., it’s black, I like black, my man said he could make the lines only visible to me! Total cost for both and a De fret, £900.00, both Neck Through, 35” scale. I have all the effects should the grind sound ‘not good’. The Cirrus is (IMO) as good as any other NT… At this price point I’m winning.
  7. None available in the UK, importer just has the more expensive top end Bass in stock.
  8. I have not had this Bass long, bought on this ear forum. It’s a great bass, in looks and playability. Used on three gigs and about 5 rehearsals by me, it did what I wanted it for, lack of mobility in my left arm. It’s 35” scale as well, important to me at the time of purchase. However, I find myself drawn to the NT dark side and specifically a set of twins, Fretless and fretted necessitating a switch to 34” scale, maybe! Stop Press. An unforeseen stroke has curtailed my bass playing career 🤷‍♂️ it’s in immaculate condition, any trial at my Gaff, I still have the box so UK mainland shipping no probs, although a meet halfway for a handover would be the best way. Complete with ‘Gig Bag. One of Ned’s better style of bass. Part ex ! A Peavey Cirrus 5iver, or a Grind 5iver, WHY? (What have you) Thanks for looking, it’s now for sale.
  9. Whoa, stop the bus ! I was interested, but not now, there’s too much out there to take a punt. Well maybe, I see a twin set up appealing fretted and fret less. 🤷‍♂️
