  1. REDUCED, also would consider a 10” or 12” speaker cab in part chop (needs to be in good nick). I have owned (through the years) many NT Basses, Warwick Thumb, New Overwater Custom builds mostly, this bass stands tall in such exalted company. It’s a 35” scale which suited me delivering a perfect “Low B”. Easy to make the transition from 34” and back again. I liked the so much I paired it with Passive NT Peavey Grind, for more of a jazz Bass feel (V,V, T,T,) and back to basics with the help of an EBS Pre. So, no band, no need🤷‍♂️ I’m open part chops W.H.Y
  2. Are you related? 😎
  3. This is a tale that needs telling, it is about generosity of spirit. I bought a watch from Mark just before Christmas, a present to myself, I had managed to break the glass on an inexpensive Citizen watch i had. Anyway it looked good, stainless, fitted perfect, happy bunny. Then it started losing time, stopping overnight (not a problem) then stopping during the day, to cut to chase, Mark refunded my money, I never asked for a refund it arrived along with instruction to toss it on the bin. To remove dubiety I returned the watch. Normally that would be the an end to it. There followed information from Mark which told me even self winder’s have facility to wind them topping up the mainspring. I took this onboard trying the technique on another watch, it worked. Suitably chastened I was taken aback by Marks next move, he gifted the watch to me 😳. I am not normally stuck for words, but this show of generosity stopped me in my track’s. Thank you Mark
  4. Last chance saloon🤷‍♂️ Posted to you in its box including Foot Pedal, UK mainland. £450.00 Yes that’s £450.00. 6 pre sets per channel and 1 efx. There’s nothing esoteric about my next project which could be dead in the water (🤔) but I won’t need such flexibility. ’Till the weekend and then withdrawn. Well ok a bit longer.o Thanks for peeking
  5. No band, no point 🤷‍♂️. This is one best looking/playing basses I have ever owned, on a par with a few Overwater’s over the last 15 years. It’s a dream to play, no discernible fret wear, a couple of blemish’s on the headstock, none on the body or neck. No case but a robust Sandberg Gig Bag. Blemishes Body Snaps Additional snaps Thanks for looking
  6. Yes as long as the interconnects are ‘Phono’. Check out the second snap which shows the input. Thanks or looking
  7. This the bottom line guy Grab a bargain Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am probably on more of limited lifespan after this stroke I had 19 days ago, that Malarkey of throat Cancer, means I need to divest myself of my Gear. The last I would I want is my daughter having dispose of kit she no idea how how to value.
  8. I’m giving this the weekend then it will withdrawn. There is a lot of Heads at this price point that are, IMO, inferior. I could consider a combo WHY. If I was in a band this would be a keeper. It’s that good.
  9. I did indeed, Gareth i was never a fan of MB until I got this, it is superb.
  10. The competition. https://thebassgallery.com/products/markbass-evo1 The blurb The Markbass EVO1 head is the result of the mix between classic and advanced technology evolution to allow bassists to have not only just a 'gorgeous' bass sound, but always the 'right' sound... no matter which genres and techniques you're playing!!! It offers six AMPS tone choices for each of the two channels, clean and distorted. Bass players have always been inspired by the possibility to mix two amplifiers tones and to blend clean and distorted sounds as Jaco Pastorius did back in the years. With the Markbass EVO 1 that's possible, opening many more sound options experimenting two amps playing simultaneously. Both channels feature classic standard amp controls interface and one effect each (you can update AMPs and effects picking and downloading your favorite ones from our website), MIDI In port, on board tuner, aux in and headphones out, FX loops, XLR Line Outs, and a powerful 500W MPT (Mark Proprietary Technology) power amp. EVO 1 Software You can update AMPs choices on each channel at your preference thanks to the MARKBASS EVO 1 SOFTWARE, that also allows to update FX choices for each channel and customize their parameters, plus you can set the Boost level that can be switched on/off via MIDI. The optional Markbass EVO 1 CONTROLLER allows to engage CH1 / CH2 or MIX both, turn on/off the FX1, FX2 and BOOST, plus accessing the TUNER with MUTE function pressing and holding the boost switch. The Markbass EVO 1 can be controlled also via programmable MIDI pedalboard. Download the latest version for WIN/MAC in the download area MB EVO 1 Controller, included The optional MB EVO 1 CONTROLLER allows to switch between CH1 and CH2, turn on/off the REV1, REV2 and BOOST, plus accessing the TUNER with MUTE function pressing and holding the boost switch. The EVO 1 can be controlled also via programmable MIDI pedalboard.
