    Just (yesterday) completed the swiftest Basschat deal ever with Nigel. In Items Wanted Nigel was looking for a HK 2x12 Cab, I offered my 2 x 112 Neo cabs, sent the snaps, Nigel he say yes, we are in business. That was Tuesday this week, prompt PayPal, arranged a meet early Wednesday. Met at 10:00 Junction 15a, all done and dusted within 15 minutes. No time for friendly chat, this COVID has totally fecked the face to face camaraderie we have🤔. Suffice to say, great guy to deal with, Sterling Basschatter. 10/10 IMO 🤗 Thanks Nigel

Snaps later today. Would consider an Ibanez SR705 fretted as a part chop or the SRSC805. Try me. Snaps as promised, this bass is unused since Feb 2020 and prior to that 4 times a month for the months I’d owned it, one of those uses being a GIG. It is immaculate, in first class condition, as new. Serial Number 31340 Strung with DR Black Beauties, its a really nice bass as good, if not better, than the Overwater Custom Jazz I had built some years ago. Blondie on the right of this bass is next on the block. She’s a 35” unlined fretless masterpiece, neck profile taken from my thumb but in a fiver configuration.

    The B will be replacing the E, ah, just sussed it, I’m removing the G 🤗 yes I can slacken the truss rod.

    Slack B, undue tension on the neck, I’m not a techie I would have just popped a string on and tried it🤫

    Guys, I’m looking at downsizing from fivers to fours, trouble is, I like the low B hence BEAD tuning. I’m not sure my ‘88 Thumb NT four will accomodate this tuning, any experiences in this field? Also I will need an unlined fretless four to complement my reduction in strings, any experiences on conversion with a new ish bass Bolt on or NT? I anticipated doing this a few years ago when I also owned an ‘89 NT Fretless Thumb so bought two Justanut 5 string width nut screws, never did it sold the Fretless, still have the nut screws.     I owned an Ibanez Musician, unlined fretless back in 1990. Never played Fretless before I found it the easiest of basses to play. This is looking better each day!
