    Guys, I’m looking at downsizing from fivers to fours, trouble is, I like the low B hence BEAD tuning. I’m not sure my ‘88 Thumb NT four will accomodate this tuning, any experiences in this field? Also I will need an unlined fretless four to complement my reduction in strings, any experiences on conversion with a new ish bass Bolt on or NT? I anticipated doing this a few years ago when I also owned an ‘89 NT Fretless Thumb so bought two Justanut 5 string width nut screws, never did it sold the Fretless, still have the nut screws. Thanks for looking

    I owned an Ibanez Musician, unlined fretless back in 1990. Never played Fretless before I found it the easiest of basses to play. This is looking better each day!

    Man, I’ve got a headache now, I need to persevere with it, that’s all it is. I looked at the apps downloaded them, if it didn’t work (intuitively) I binned it. I need to give them the benefit of the doubt. Also, I didn’t expect this level of assistance. It’s hats off to Basschatters. I promise to look at it again and have a real good go at it. But not now, today, or tomorrow. Thanks again guys, it is me that fecking it up, I’m too impatient, 🙄 B

    Anytime didn’t do for me what I wanted it to do, I just did a quick looksee having the attention span of a goldfish and moved on. Mentioned Apple ‘cos I’m using the iPad and I think anytime and Apple don’t work well together. This is all semantics, I’ll find something that works on the kit I have. I just popped the query in to see if I could get a shortcut to help. I did, now I’ll evaluate the shortlist. Hope that satisfies your curiosity.

    Phew, = THIS IS AN EXCLAMATION OF FRUSTRATION. I’ll try em tomorrow = I WILL TRY THEM OUT TOMORROW. ,great stuff guys = THANK YOU. Already hit a snag with Anytune = ANYTUNE DID NOT WORK FOR ME. I think it’s feckin Apple = APPLE ARE NOT USER FRIENDLY WITH ALL THIRD PARTY APPS. you know what like😱. = YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THIS TYPE OF SCENARIO Hope this helps
