3.
This is the best bass I've ever played!! Custom built for me by the best luthier in the world. Plays like butter, amazing fret work. The tone has that lovely lager and lime sound and the lows register on the Richter scale! Balances beautifully, very slim supersonically fast neck. Beautiful burl ives top and you can see jesus's face in the wood pattern! (just near the mid sweep knob). This cost £3,750. Trade for a pre CBS Fender Jazz, preferably two tone burst with maple board. Will also consider Foderas, Mayones, or Fender Bass VI. WHY. Pics won't do this bass justice but I will get Henri to take some later.
So thats where Burl Ives went
4. Excuse my ignorance but, if this is a re-issue how can it have an awsome history. Furthermore is'nt Lemmy a Leg End not a Legend?
5. Wow, I used one of these as an extension to an AC 50 and Foundation 18" in the Cavern in the mid 60's, some waft. The Foundation was used facing the corner of teh stage and the Goliath faced out........serious air movement in a cellar. Aaaaaaaaah, nostalgia is'nt what it used to be.

Sold my Dean Pace upright 5 to Chris, sorted a Paypal account and received prompt payment. Doddle for an Oldman (me) and a Gentleman to deal with.
7. Is there proof positive that Lemmy played this Bass, a photograph of him playing this Bass during the Gig on stage live? To the best of my knowledge and belief Lemmy has always played a Rick'. It does say the he "Signed" the Bass whilst at the Gig, implying use !!!

11. Just stumbled on this thread from Bill's forum, fascinating stuff, all that folded horn, bass reflex, voice of the theatre stuff. Did'nt realise you could actually get the bottom end you wanted with a home build. Looks great, complicated, but superb.
