1. O me O my, well it's discount time, Washburn £225.00, Dean Pace (its a five) £315.00. Courier at your expense but no more than £14.99 each. I cant say fairer than that.
2. Spector Sold, subject to the usual.................
3. I havent laughed so much for ages. Can we sign him up for a regular feature on how to be an arse, he must have more vitriol, does he read Heat Magazine?
4. And this http://www.basscentre.com/5-string-bass-gu...-euro-5-lx.html And my Spector has Black Hardware...............
5. Well well well look what I found, http://www.dv247.com/guitars/spector-euro5...in-gloss--80043, just an illustration as to what a bargain you have in my Spector
6. Looks like I am the only person looking at my thread.......................Friday Bumplet
7. Stan, is this the 35" scale with the piezo pickup?
8. C'mon guys you know you need a Spector Euro 5 LX, especially in Black, in a Spector Hard case an all.
9. Tuesday Bump, did I mention I would trade the Spector, I did, maybe for an Eden, or a EA i800 or something of that Ilk. Let me know I can only say no
10. I will add a better picture of the Dean Pace upright, did I say it is a 5iver, it is in Black. My asking for this (never gigged) item is £350.00.Only
11. I have to agree with most of the sentiments, but it is the buyers choice to do or not to do the due diligence on his prospective purchase. As a rule of thumb your "Retail" purchase is worth about 50/60% of what you paid from the minute you use it. If our head ruled our heart we would'nt do the deal, but it does'nt, so we look, we buy, we like for a while maybe have second thoughts and try and shift for as much as what we paid. If that does'nt work the item may be hyped and bayed as well. Its subjective, I like the craic on this forum and appreciate the varied responses and I feel I can tell when someone is "at it" but everyone to their own, its still a good forum notwithstanding the subterfuge of some sleakit vendors. If you want it buy it............but patience !
12. Cant say I have, I lusted after this and it has served it's purpose in the transition from fretted 4, 34" to fretless 5, 35" by way of the Spector fretted 35", sounds convoluted I know, but it worked for me (ish). I could be partial to a straight trade for a Warwick NT Fretless Thumb 4 or, prefarably a 5. But a TRB fretless NT 5 would do the trick as well, any colour even.
13. Thank you Mr darkandrew, I find he bass as good as my Thumb with rounds on, its got that attack and depth with 35". It sounds thumpy with tha AER and the Roland sub with just the right amount of "Zing". But then I am old fashioned. Thanks again guys
14. Right opened up the Back, your right it's a Tone Pump, Serial number of the bass is N87984 description "B ST-EU5LX-BKS" and I bought it 11/07/08. I am open to offers or perhaps a straight trade for a Fretless Warwick Thumb NT 4. As with the Dean Pace and the Washburn open to offers, sensible offers. You know what like. Thanks again for lookin'
15. Back in the UK will look at the pre amp in the Spector. I am open to offers guys.....
16. I ordered this configuration as I am partial to black, black and well more black. You now what they say "Once you've had black theres no goin back".
17. I have just re-read my rather aggressive reply, it was meant to be lighthearted, did'nt come out like that, sorry guys shot myself in the foot there, I will check out the details when I get back in UK Friday and post them here. I originally tried to buy a Black Euro 5 LX from Sound Control in Dundee in 2007 the sales guy would'nt take my deposit as he said they could'nt deliver the goods (would'nt) they folded soon after. I negotiated direct with the distributors (Dallas Arbiter) and ordered it from them in this colour, so I guess that makes it a Custom job ! Anyway sorry again for being so forthright
18. Just looked at your thread Mr Kiwi...................Your bass is Pretty, I like the natural look, I preferred the darker side. I dont do the geeky, inside the outside of your backside must have the serial number date of birth of the hardware bit, I just do bass...............you likee......... you negotiate.....you buyee. You dont you dont. Thanks for looking.
