1. I have no GAS at the moment
2. Just looking around the "in stock" pages on the Status website and found this!
3.
That looks the business. Is it of a similar ilk to the Mesa Prodigy?
Not really, as it has a digital power section.
4. I would recommend the Demeter without reservation. It is without doubt the best amp I have ever owned.
5. Try the Gator website. They do loads of padded bags.
6. You're all just jealous, jealous I tell ya!
7. Bring the thunder I have yet to use both cabs together, but figured I'd post a "stack" shot anyway.
8. How about the EMG GZR?
9. Ashdown told me a couple of years ago that there was no difference between the MK and JJ versions apart from the case colour...
10. I have the Dual Bass Station by Providence, and I find it to be indispensable. Two inputs: I switch between electric and upright constantly at each gig Individual master volumes: set the basses at the same volume at the start of the gig 3 band eq with sweepable mids: leave the amp flat and eq each bass via the pedal tuner and mute: silent tuning If I was playing one bass at a gig I wouldn't bother with it, unless I wanted to set up two different core tones (e.g slap and fingerstyle), but for two basses it's the biz!
11. Thanks for the comments guys, I'm tempted to go GZR in the fretted and Aguilar in the fretless at the mo
12. Hi folks Does anyone have experience of both of these pickups? I like both from what I can hear in Youtube reviews, but I'd like a BC opinion of both if possible. I ask as my American Specials have the "American Standard Alnico Split Single-Coil" in them, which is a decent enough pickup, but I find it a touch indistinct at times. Happy to consider other pickups as well, but I want something that sounds "traditional" and had really good separation and balance between the strings. Thanks Gareth
13. I think the first year of use was 1966 and they were done for the most part by 1968. That said, I had a '71 P which had them fitted.
14. I sold a gig bag to Etienne. It was a terrific transaction with prompt email communication and immediate payment. A pleasure to deal with
15.
A killer bass for the money even when stock. B-)
Tidy
16.
Is this the one made from brass? If so is that just the saddles? How much is the postage per chance?
The hipshot site says it's made of brass, so I assume that means the base plate and saddles. Buyers contribution to postage would be £3. Thanks
17. I used my LB30 into Ashdown Classic Neo 2x10 and 1x15s in a Jam tribute band for a while and it was more than capable.

I sharpied the top of one pedal and it dispered the light out really well to the side, so this would be my way to go.
19.
I mean the bit the string wraps around... it probably has a name ("capstan" possibly?) but I don't know what it is!
Ah I see now. Yes, they are waisted indeed, just like the ones below:
20.
I can't see from the photo - but are these "waisted" or straight-sided?
Do you mean the actual tuner shaft with the paddle? If so, yes, they are waisted.
