They’re hard core.

I don’t mind Trokyo and it’s not as bad as the jokes make it out to be. I even have some friends who live there. I don’t like to admit that in certain company, and they have to come to mine if we get together…. But otherwise…😛

I’ve seen it a few times and think it’s an interesting looking bass. Overpriced though.

I got these here. Presumably used, out of an SB1 or 2. But yes a drop in replacement, didn’t even have to alter the pickup holes on the pickguard. And the strings lined up between the poles nicely too.

G&L MFD split coil humbucker. Found on SB1 basses.

It would appear that there is a long-standing issue with the knobs on the above amps. Most of mine have split and been glued back together. However, I’d like to replace them with new ones, but it’s been very difficult to source any so far. The shaft is D shaped (see picture). Anyone got any experience of replacing these, or any advice on what sort of knob would fit this type of shaft. I don’t care what they look like particularly, just need to fit. Thanks for any help you can offer. John

There really should be a holding place where people could offer free gear to music charities/community projects. What with funding for performance arts in schools being shredded (no pun intended), we could be a source for equipment.
