I put a led strip under mine too! It’s usb powered from the fender power brick. Classy!

Basswitch is a really clean pre and two bands of semi para mids two fx loops, a boost, two inputs for two bass or you can A/B the preamp on/off transformer in the DI and just a wonderful clean sound. The lows are set low but it’s never muddy or undefined. I’ve had one for about 10yrs and wouldn’t sell it even though it’s not on my board just now it’s a keeper for me! I think there was one for sale on the forum quite recently.

We scope and trawl and hunt and scavenge yet when we take stock on the gig and listen… our needs are 98% met. Buy less enjoy more. If it’s not working turn it off and enjoy not using it. If it works enjoy it for what it does. If it’s not quite right make the call and step on or don’t step on. be the antithesis of a forum.

My mate has a 5 string passive USA model which he pipped me at the post on in a local gumtree sale. I keep wanting to offer to buy it off him as it was only £650

I have one of these and it’s a cracking pedal. It’s a low gain unit which is very tweakanke to get it dialled in to suit. I’ve used a spark booster and would place the BetaV as the love child of the of the original Beta, the Spark booster and EHX bass soul food.

I wonder if many folks are now gonna consider the HX Stomp as an alternative to the Noble. It’s great to see the ongoing support and updates having added value for long time users of the HX units.
