  1. Very underrated chorus. Easy to recall presets. Had one in an 80’s band for ‘that’ sound.
  2. Two transformers - so you’re getting one always in the signal path and a second on the di. Version one always had the transformer in the circuit, v2 added another to the di out👍🏼
  3. I’ve a couple of those LBA transformers hiding under my board and they do add a certain quality to the signal path.
  4. Bit off topic but I’ve been looking at camera bags/backpacks which have the compartments as a gig bag stuff carrier solution… not sure what would accommodate a mic stand too but fishing gear is a good start.
  5. Edit Nux ones are available locally. I’ll have a look at the link. I’ve no real need to have wireless so I might just stick with the cables. They’re. Very pretty colour!
  6. The link I meant to post… https://www.talkbass.com/threads/bill-lawrence-p-46-pickup-mini-review-best-p-pickup-ive-ever-tried.528005/
  7. How’s the wireless. Been thinking about nabbing a set and not sure what to go for. Always better to see money going to a bc sale than Amazon. The mix ones are available locally but not had a chance to do any research on these v the boss. My two bass cables cost about the same as a wireless set up so reluctant to make the change but since going wireless in my iems it kinda makes sense!
  8. Very even sounding pick up from the master winder! Unique design means this will fit in a 4 or 5 string p bass and each coil has 5 pole pieces. Huge mega thread(s) on TB for more hyperbole as only our US cousins can muster! https://www.talkbass.com/threads/bill-lawrence-p46-gloriousness.1324474/ These can also be wired series or parallel and I can send a wiring diagram from the Wilde pick up site. Heading off camping for a few days so pictures to follow - image below from the Wilde site. Price includes uk shipping.
  9. Put these into a HB jazz and they elevated the tone. However I really dig the Fender ‘64 jazz pick ups and got a pair recently. Now the dilemma… I’m in two minds about swapping them out so I thought I’d list them to help force my decision making I do have the ‘64’s in another jazz - it doesn’t help! 😀 I love what these do - nice low and low mids and warm sounding but with classic jazz single coil top end clarity. They remind me of a 60’s wind. I always thought the Bart covers were classy and modern looking. No click or clank from the fingers on the pole pieces too if that’s a thing for you. Product Link: https://bartolini.net/product/9cbjs1/ I should add I used this with a solderless loom so the wires are in top top condition. Boxed and price includes U.K. shipping.
  10. Dying to hear what this sounds like.
  11. This will turn into a show me your pedalboard thread😀
  12. Comp>Simone and depending if the desert island sports bar/cocktail bar has pa/foh a DG Element cab ir. Basically my existing pedal board 😀
  13. Nice update! Who’ll be first to blink and nab one 😀
  14. I never paid much attention to this head but selectable frequencies on all eq bands must be worth the price alone. If it’s built anything like the Ashdown stuff with the big transformers (think Spider heads) it must be a great unit.
  15. I'm just sitting here playing my rig into headphones and the Element just ties everything together. If Lebowski had a pedal board the Element would be his 'rug'! Does make me want to add another comp pedal to the Di out as it really does a fine job. There is space for one so...
  16. Brilliant. You’ll dig it. It’s a classic comp circuit based loosely off the dbx 160 I think. Just be careful you don’t find yourself down the compressor rabbit hole and this time next year you’ll have tried o]and probably own about 5 different comp pedals 😀
