1. Couldn't find a feedback entry for Guven, but having just sold him an amp with no problems whatsoever deal with him in confidence! Very friendly, immediate payment, perfect!
2. I have a gig on Saturday but Sunday should be fine (old man post gig recovery time!) Thanks Jeremy!
3. Excellent transaction with Dave who bought my Chowny. No problems at all, prompt international payment and good comms. Deal with confidence!
4. Hi Stuart. I have used several TC products over the last few years and I have to say without any problems whatsoever. I have a TC head and 12" cab as well and gigged with a full 750 watt TC set up until I retired and couldn't have been happier. I think there were one or two problems with the early models but this is a later one and seems to be really well built. I think with most electrical problems the worst period is just after purchase, then they tend to settle down. You are more than welcome to come and have a play if you want? Cheers, Bob
5. Hi Stuart. Yes its still here. I have had a few people seemingly interested but they all seem to have disappeared! Bob
6. Hi. Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Just got back from a few days in Manchester sorry!
7. I really enjoyed it! First one for quite a while I can say that about. Didn't really go for the bass warbling chap but the rest were good.
8. I thought this bass had sold really quickly but the prospective purchaser seems to have disappeared, so it's still for sale!
9. Still here! Courier delivery might be a bit problematical as I appear to have thrown away the box!
10. Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, just off junction 9 of the M5.
11. Hi Tom. I'm back gigging again but in a much smaller way! Playing in a wedding band is a serious commitment that takes a lot of your fishing time away so the little pub duo I am now in fits the bill. It's a hobby that pays for itself is how I look at things. Lost an awful lot of big fish though in the last few years.......
12. CHOWNY CHB-1 short scale bass and case. I bought this bass on a bit of a whim, mainly because I loved the colour! Its a one off I believe, superb shiny fuschia, and comes with the most excellent tweed Gator case I have ever seen. I gig with an SW 1 short scale and a Fender Mustang with which I am extremely happy, so doubt if this lovely instrument will ever get used in anger. Its hardly seen the light of day since I bought it, the only thing I have done being to fit straplocks to it. It has a really nice warm vintage type tone and being short scale is easy to play. Collection would be best but I'm sure we could sort something out if delivery was required. NOW SOLD

I live in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This is the one with two TonePrint slots and sounds really good. Collection would be ideal but I am sure we could sort something out with delivery at cost. 14. Hardly used EDEN WTX 500 head and EX112 4 ohm cab. I bought these a few months ago with the intention of using them for pub gigs, but after using them twice (and being extremely satisfied with the sound and volume) I discovered a combo for sale on this very forum that fitted the bill so bought that instead. As a consequence I haven't touched them since so effectively they are as new. I would like £450 for them as a pair, or £295 for the head and £160 for the cab please. Pick up obviously preferred but I'm sure I could sort out delivery at cost. CAB and HEAD NOW SOLD........ 15. Sue comes to every one and has done for 17 years. She helps set up and tear down, does the lights and tells me if I am too loud or quiet. The only problem is I really don't know if she likes the music! She says she does but I don't really believe her. Oh, and she drives if there are free drinks all night.
16. This was a bass I originally commissioned and it really is incredible value for that price. The LEDs in the neck nearly cost that on their own! I'm sorely tempted to buy it back if it wasn't for my recent discovery of short scales.... Best of luck with the sale, it should be gone in a flash!
17. I've played with my bass plugged in to the amplifier for years. Turns out punters prefer it when it's not plugged in and they can't hear it.......
18.
I'm 63, are you playing those songs on a regular basis? Reason I ask is because my band has over 60 songs that are called at gigs. I still have room in my memory for more. But that's because I'm playing them on a weekly basis. I doubt my memory is any stronger than anyone else's. Blue
In the words of Homer Simpson, in order to remember something new one must first forget something you already knew. I suppose I can remember 90% but forgetting that 10% on stage scares the bejesus out of me!
19. I am 62 years old and can't remember stuff like I used to so there is no hope of me remembering 50+ songs which change fairly regularly! It's alright for you young bucks but all of my spare brain capacity is spent trying to remember to breathe regularly and take my (real) tablets each day........
20. I had an Alembic Excel way back in the day which is one of the basses I regret selling. I have never seen another one since? It was a 'budget' starter bass with a single pickup but was way nicer than any Alembic I have played since, including the Essence, Orion and Elan.
21. Lovely smooth and trouble free transaction with Carlos. Bought a little SW1 for no money at all which arrived quickly and well packed from Barcelona. Cheers!
22. Just bought an amp from Pete, my first deal with him for several years and everything went swimmingly. The combo is as new, perfectly packed and sent in lightning quick time. I am delighted, thanks again Pete!
23. Second paid gig last night for my duo in a local pub as last minute replacements for a blues band. A blues band we ain't! Not too many people there but those that were really enjoyed our varied selection of stuff. Got TWO compliments on my bass playing including one really nice and complimentary one, which is precisely two more than I have had in the last ten years. Got paid a little bonus on top which was nice, so overall very pleased. The short set up and tear down times still amaze and please me after years in a function band. Very pleased still with my SW1 short scale bass as well, especially when I am stuck in a corner that the proverbial cat couldn't circumnavigate.
