  1. Yeah either 82 or 83 it's basically an sb900 but White and gold. Plays and sounds great. Known as and refered to by peers as the poor mans Alembic
  2. Woah that's steep. I value my aria a bit higher than that. I really like this bass (for want of a better word) though. I don't think I've ever seen anything so cool
  3. Must...... Resist..... Vigier
  4. Yeah she's a bit battle scarred. Missing almost all of the finish, missing the bridge cover, pegs a a bit rusty, grub screws in bridge are shagged but she still sounds great somehow. Go figure :s
  5. I'll get one up as soon as I get the internet back on my laptop. I hope I'm not building you up for a fall
  6. Anyone wanna see my slidey pick-up grabber?
  7. I love the starwars touch, and the rest of the bass. I'd probably loose the LEDs but I'm a purist. I play (and have always played) roto's. I was given a set of d'adarios by a producer, they didn't stay for long. I've learned to stick with what I know where strings are concearned these days. Where'd you get the knob from? I want one!
  8. I think it's an age thing. Mine is buckled to hell and back. I've never seen one that's not. That said I've only seen 2 in the flesh and I'm wayy too young to remember them new :s.
  9. To those who own multiple T-40s. I have an early non rail one, is the difference in tone that massive between it and the railed one? I kinda wish mine had more bite.
  10. No worries. I promise you this jazz looks, is built and sounds better than anything that's come out of America since the 70s.
  11. Any interest in a battered CIJ 65/66 Reissue jazz in CAR with matching headstock and rosewood "dots n bound" fingerboard and neck and custom wound shed pickups and a badass as a trade?
  12. Does it have the birdseye neck? Is it the one with the bigger bridge?
  13. Just sold rich a Delano p pickup. Very easy fella to deal with and a knowledgeable bloke too. Spotless deal. Great guy. Top marks. Awesome.
  14. Offiially a top bloke, easy to deal with and a top geezer too. Can't say a bad word about Roon.

  17. Now swapped for SVT-4 pro. Thanks for all your interest. Ash feel free to remove
  18. Now swapped for SVT-4 pro. Thanks for all your interest. Ash feel free to remove
  19. I have this bass but a bit more battered and CAR. I've never seen another one. Bump for an awesome, rare jazz and a good price. Where did you get the plate from? I want a red tortie for mine
  20. Hey man. What does this beauty sound like? I'd take if off you if I knew for sure I could make use of it.
  21. If you still have this in a month I'm all over it. Been after a nice one for a while now
  22. I've strung it the same way my other basses are strung and none of them cause me problems. Having it set up professionally at some cost didn't solve the problem either :s. What could have been done wrong in the stringing process?
