3. quarter pounders, quarter pounders, quarter pounders, quarter pounders, quarter pounders....sorry
4. ok think i have the hang of it now... it (to me) is all in the realisation of a little time change in the 2nd part of the lick, excuse my ignorance, but does it move up a notch to 16ths or something with the open A and D, hammer ons bit before the "descent " from open A to the beginning again? Sorry, thats not musically precise im sure, but the best i can articulate it!
5. yeah, slowly getting the hand of it, its the second part with the change in timing with the open A and D and the hamer on/offs without the open A ringing on thats causing me a headache! Love it though, driving the wife and kids nuts...
6. its the timing i find a little tricky, those little mutes, damn, he's good!
7. Is it me or is this a really tricky little bass line? Big heads and egotists out tyhe back door please! Im finding the timing a whole new learning curve from the plodding bass lines i usually bang out. Great line to learn mind!
8. www.lemonrock.com good site for bands looking for new members but mainly covers, some origionals though
9. quite fancy that costume mind, would look fairly "unique" down the local at our next gig....
10.
My thoughts exactly..... how can he be so sh*t live but pretty awesome on recordings..... or does he have a 'stuntbassist' on standby?
and a fluffer?
11. funnily enough a mate emailed yesterday about seeing them in plymouth next month and the ticket prices were waaay too much!

14.
Not sure what this means?? I'm going on the Monday I believe
Sorry i meant no disrespect but 1000 miles/hour slap does not groove IMO, he sure aint no Larry Graham/BootsyMarcus/Verdine, as i said, perhaps you had to be there to really get down n funky, or possibly im talking utter bo**ocks!
15. £30 to £60 quid , no way! Id rather kiss a tramps arse! Used to love level 42 back when i was a spotty herbert back in 84, but lets be honest, they were pretty embarassing weren't they? Marks an amazing player, but, well, white men cant jump, as the saying goes.... sorry
16.
the legacy strings that are £6 a packet are pretty good.
+1 on the legacy www.stringsdirect.com really good, use em for gigging.
17. ah man im showing me age but i find this the hardest time to keep awake! All that adrenaline goes quickly once the packing up starts! The drive home is a killer...
18. If you play in bands looking to "make it" (whatever that means) and use promoters, I think the sentiments in that excellent full article ring very true. However, if you play in a dodgy pub covers band (like me!) and play not for vanity or advancement but for the sheer visceral pleasure of making loud music and a couple of quid with maybe an added benefit of giving people some pleasure then im not so sure.
19. ah man thats lovely! I got new electrics (PIO's) from KiOgon as well and what a difference to the sound, that was really unexpected! Much deeper, less treble, more growl and much smoother volume and treble control. If you ever want to sell that baby, Im first in line!
20. i have the PF 500 and im really happy with it. Would the micro head be loud enough for gigging? Depending on what you want to do of course!
21. wow, thats beautiful, i wish mine hadnt been modded for a j pup, lost half its value i guess (although i think it sounds better!)

They're becoming quite collectable but you can still pick em up on ebay for about 60 squid
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=pearl+chorus&_sacat=See-All-Categories
