2. I'll ask a photographer friend very nicely if he fancies coming, I'm bringing my dad anyway - he loves gearporn!
3.
Interesting, I'd never heard of Krampera. What would you compare it to?
Can't really compare it to anything before, for me it's like Aguilar/Eden/TC/Hartke.. but.. better with more clarity and dynamic range. Plus it's loud! Any of you at the LBS probably heard a similar rig cranked.. 1/4-1/2 by Mr. Clutterbuck (think it was him?)
4.

I've heard of this before. In fact I'm certain a 'well known' guitarist did this to get his callus' up - worked like a charm. Whenever I ruin my hand doing something stupid like playing guitar or cooking I end up using superglue on the finger tips, even down to the bass (see what I did there?) of the finger. It's what it was invented for, putting people back together!
5. Just thought I'd add my amp is 800watts (or so the brochure says ), never tried it full full before (even at a stadium gig it didn't go past 1/2) so I'm very much wanting to go to 11.
6. Haha, showing no one up (I hope) Just thought a session/improv thing might be cool - it's what I get booked on - some people might be able to get something out of it!
7. In. I'll bring a ton of gear if you want? I'd do a workshop on session stuff but.. well.. you guys hate slap. 01. 8. I'll do a photo at the next session I'm allowed to take photos at - because that plus three more basses is quite a sight!
9. After 2 years of study I'm finishing my degree at ACM, to celebrate they let us be examined once again in a live situation surrounded by friends! It's on the 2nd August at 7pm at ACM in Guildford - don't know how much they can pack out the room but I'm sure they'll let as many bass lovers in as possible. I'll be covering Mr Pink, Moonlight Sonata and The Imperial March to name a few, it'll be a good fun evening. AND ACM is above a pub, so after it's straight to the pub! This year might be free entry, so.. just get there and watch some immense music.
10. Bump. Got some dates in August that I'd love to fill. I play any style and travel!
11. I swear there's a tread like this once a month? Slap is an art to itself, very few nail it but those who do 'NAIL' it. I love slap, I love playing slap and I love playing in a band when I can groove around a slap lick - but it does have a place. A lot of people over use it and don't understand the concept that less is more and so we get.. the London Bass Show.
12. That looks just like it! Perfect! Now just to figure out what the pickups.. wood.. and tuners are.
13. It's piezo too if that helps?
14. Stuck some photos onto my flickr in a set, I'll take it apart once I have some spare time! Flickr.
15. Not had the guts to. Every time I dismantle a bass I break something.
16. I've had this bass for a year or two and I just can't sus out what bridge this is! It's solid and works well, I'm just intrigued as to.. what it is! Haha.
17. If I chop my ding-dong off, does that make me a girl?
18. They were very friendly and welcoming at the LBS, good to know they have customer service on items to match!
19.
Except the London branch of GuitarGuitar in Epsom of course
Still amazed how they call that London. Don't think it's even within OysterCard zones haha.
20. Got any DR stuff in stock? I'll make the trip if you've got anything except those awful colourful ones.
21.
Looking at this thread, you seem to be the lucky minority. I do wish I could take the minimum gear to gigs, I cant see it ever happening though.
I've been gigging a lot in town recently (more than usual). None of the engineers let me bring my own amp and demand I use their backline, but that's not going through the PA ever (apart from being DI'd on occasion). I'm about to make a point of telling the engineers to go 'something' themselves soon and just bring my own amp because big tasty Krampera > 40watt Laney.
22. I'll share the set for my final performance.

Imperial Jazz March
Mr Pink
She Will Be Samba
American Boy
Moonlight Sonata
I'll see if I can find a proper function set to throw up.
23. I'd like to think all my 'true bypass' pedals and decent preamp made it sound brand new. Jokes aside - it looks interesting. I'll see where has one in stock, or if any distributors have any - see if I can get my hands on one to review too maybe?
