1. Think I'm on TV the night before this, might not have slept. I apologise to all if I fall asleep leaning up against my amp.
 2. NOW SOLD Well, the story behind this wonderful amp is; I bought it a couple of years ago (from someone on here) with the intention of gigging it. However I got into studio work so it sat at home. Of the few times I used it I found what a loud amp it was, so loud that I think I damaged one of the speakers (so that needs looking into). The electrics of it seem to work fine, and the preamp is deliciously warm! So it's sold as seen and does need repair, though it's had very little use. £150 collected from Portsmouth! Need more photos, just ask!
 3.
You've suddenly forgotten where you are in the song and what you're supposed to play. Do you: a) Pretend your lead/amp/bass has a sudden fault. Play a drone note until you remember what you're supposed to play. c) Throw your hands up and admit defeat. d) Panic. e) Do all of the above.
None of the above. Play a semiquaver behind everyone (usually make the 1st beat seem like a leading note to the 1+ which is the one I'm looking for) and continue that till I'm back in the clear. Never put me wrong yet, even had to use it at a festival where I 'forgot' the section and didn't think to look at the guitarists hands.. haha!
 4. My jazz was only about £250 2nd hand, that's about as proper as it gets. May I also point you towards my recent review *plugplugplug* of a Vintage fretless. £329 and it's very much a proper bass.
 5. I've just realised how close this is starting to get now.. Exited much?!
 6. Personal taste. I'm not a big pick lover even on fretted, but it has its time.
 7. Can I quickly add that my comment about Nottingham and Manchester was a joke. A crap one at that, but a joke.
 8.
Possibly not - but wanting to order and actually ordering are two different things. I've done these tradeshows. I know the reality.
Well they're stocked across Europe and although I'm not told figures, they are shifting. It's in Mesa, SWR and MB territory too, and (considering the amp) not overpriced. Try one, you'll be surprised.
 9.
I'd love to, but I'm up in Manchester, so bit of a trip for me
Some people are rolling down from Nottingham? Jump on the roof.
 10.
I understand you wouldn't openly discuss your prices but can you rely on the companies listed below in your sig to give you exposure or publicity as an artist, could you arrange gear support should yours fail mid tour? Those sort of things are surely cool to discuss as it would put the company in good light. You know, EBS bailed me out this week, great guys! Or, do they big you up? Do companies equal the amount of advertising that the artist always seem to be doing for them?
Where they can I'm fairly confident they would try. If I rung up any of them and said I'd had a failure I have no doubt they'd get something out to me as soon as physically possible. EBS are great guys, met most of the main company in Frankfurt and it was like a big family. I think they'd big me up where appropriate, otherwise it'd be a bit wasted.
 11.
No, I'm saying there are plenty of bass players using the endorsement thing when in actual fact they have a trade account, no support etc
A lot of companies will call the trade thing an endorsement though, bare that in mind. I've checked my contracts and much like ThomBassmonkey I can't discuss the goings on, however I think most companies will give a form of support where they can when they say you use their gear and vice versa. Wouldn't look good on them if they didn't. And again I agree with Thom, power doesn't come into it. Two way street, no power, free flow!
 12.
"Transcoil offers increased efficiency for greater clarity and output, high dynamics and a faster attack presenting the optimum load to any amplifier by virtue of its zero inductance." "The end result is a 12” speaker that responds much faster than virtually any other 10” speaker on the market and provides a very clear sound on stage, without the “boominess” associated with many other systems." I'm not doubting you when you say it sounds good, for that price it had better -- it's just a shame they've dropped to marketing tactics normally reserved for the hi-fi industry. I could make other comments as well but I don't want to just sit here and be totally negative -- certain aspects do seem well designed, it's refreshing to see a 15" in a nice big proper box instead of crammed into the tiniest box allowable, and I do love anything with multi-coloured lights on it! Also a fan of the 'low height, rack width' design of the head, instead of the more common 'narrow-but-taller/deeper' design -- I think this looks better. 9V power and effects loop on the footswitch are nice too, it's good to see I'm not the only one with such ideas.
I haven't read the whole press pack, suppose I should've done haha. It's got cool unique features, the power on the pedal bit is handy as I'm now eating through batteries like there's no tomorrow. I'm taking it to the Surrey bass bash, so if you're coming, come give it a once over!
 13.
If Krampera are going to make claims of loudspeakers with no inductance, and then go on to claim that they solve a problem they didn't cause in the first place -- then I'm going to call b*llocks.
Where does it say that? All I can see is stuff like; 'but replaces the 12” driver with a very high quality low inductance lightweight 15” speaker that delivers improved bass frequency response and adds real weight and improved definition.'
 14.
I've no idea what the RRP is, but some of the things they mention on their site have me concerned -- some really basic misunderstandings that make me thing they don't know what they're doing.
George is probably the best amp builder in the world, so I can assure you the unit knows exactly what it's doing. Don't think I'm the only owner in the UK, certainly not in Europe as loads of people wanted to order right there and then at Frankfurt.
 15. I'll have a read through the contracts and see. I do not have tour support by any of them, though. The tours I've done/do the management cover everything anyway.
 16. In regards to the Vintage dig, this is coming from the side of their players (though I've only just joined 'em). Their equipment is considerably better than what it use to be like, I mean honestly, I've got the 5 string active Stingray copy and it's a decent backup. It's not a touch on the Fodera, however for the price of the product it's very good. Electrics are put together well and it's relatively ease free to play. Having set it up, it's my bass, so I can play it very easily. Plus, when a company gives you equipment, you're not gonna say 'nah this is crap, but I'll play it' as a quote. Endorsement to me (at the moment) is a company helping you along the road by giving you publicity where they can, accreditation and when possible free gear. That's why my signature on here has 'Developing my musical career with the help of..' - because that's what they're doing in the endorsements.. developing my career. Edit: found a definition of endorsing. "To give approval of or support to, especially by public statement; sanction"
 17. As long as I sort out my tweeter, I'll bring backing tracks to run through the rig - probably a laptop too so we can layer some drum tracks up for whoever wants something different.
 18.
Is that why you missed me? !!! Please add me to the list. Thanks Paul
You do it yourself bud, select the list and add yourself.
