2. Last week before it just goes on eBay. ONO people!
3. Piezo is installed but not wired in, using the normal pickups. Neck is by Gak . Photos from the previous owner showed a different neck and a pickup cover. Weight is probably 7kgs ish, pretty heavy.. but worth it for the sound.
4. Bumppp. I'm away from tomorrow till Monday so won't be able to reply to anything till then..
5. Nope, it's a bitza one. Sounds wicked though!
6. It's this bass; http://basschat.co.uk/topic/87357-custom-78-fretless-p/page__p__831798__hl__shaggy__fromsearch__1#entry831798 Minus the Fender neck and the pickup cover! Almost 100% certain the Pizo isn't wired in at the moment..
7. "What's going on" for the chromatic sections and Bernadette for the octave based riffs.
8. Selling my lovely custom fretless P bass, £200 collected please! More photos here; https://www.facebook...=3&l=aa1a31c843 Comes without a pre-amp, but with space for almost any preamp, and a battery compartment already there!
9. My foundation of bass playing was centered around Jamerson and Dunn. Without their amazing chops my playing wouldn't be nearly the same..
10. Enjoy!

12.
Hey Tom, What do you mean by 'musicians behind pop tracks'? Do you mean guys in the studio, or the session guys that stand behind pop acts live? easy L
Both man.
13. As my 2012 project, I'm creating a documentary series called 'Behind The Music'. It'll be showcasing the musicians behind pop tracks etc, and what they play - how it's made. I'll also be looking to interview people who have an extensive music knowledge about musicians behind artists. Here's the trailer anyway.. https://www.youtube....h?v=h3XiVevrQaI So if you think you can be involved, get involved! Message me on here..
14. It took me about half an hour to read through everything properly, so glad I did. Stunning bass and such luck - sounds like the summarised story will be quite a read too - looking forward to reading it!
15. I don't touch drink till I've finished my gig, even then I usually won't touch the stuff till I'm packed up. I won't book anyone to anything if they drink before they gig, I book people to be 'on it', not 'nearly on it'. I know some people drink before a gig because it relaxes them, but it doesn't work for mee.
16.
if it was during the demo with the tapping guy i think you did us all a favour
Hahaha. If it wasn't my 15 minutes with Alex, I was usually not on the stand. I did notice some people just picking up basses, plugging in and playing when.. let's be honest.. that's not quite the right thing to do when the bass is about £7,000 ha. Will add that some stalls were very guilty of not keeping track of volume, but we were good when our 15 mins were up. That and some just purposely went as loud as they physically could just to spite the audience you were getting. See y'all next time!
17.
+1 I tried to do the same, but it was pointless! - i really felt for Alan, John and Dave on the ACG/East/EAD stand - i think it was starting to drive them nuts... it was really out of order and as they were overloading the amps it just made them sound cr@p as well! Hopefully things are better today. I was fortunate enough to be dealing with Innovation/Ernie Ball on the strings and things stand in the entrance hallway - a lot quieter and everyone was sticking to the 15mins live sound per hour rule.
As far as I was aware, we were 15 mins on and 45 mins off, it's what I stuck to and shortly after playing just went gear spotting. It was monitored haha.
18.
There's a possibility i'll be down for both days, but i'll post back here when i know for sure as I'd love to catch up for cawfee and a chinwag with y'all. I'm gonna be toting my wares on the Hartke stand, but this year i intend to actualy play through some gear on other stands! Last time i spent so much time talking to everyone, i didnt plug in to a single amp!!!
Sort it out dood, we need beverages together buddy!
