1. Over 30 trade offers, 3 people fund raising, but finally tempted by a trade
2. Cheers Bri. On hold.
3. Over 20 basses offered in trade, some a little more realistic than others . 4 people fundraising to buy this. Still here though. Probably going to remove if it's still here next weekend as it would appear this uncommon bass is not quite desirable enough for folk to bite the bullet.
4. Not the only one. My ad for Fender American Hot Rod has vanished (reported to MB1 & Ped last night). Looks like Black Coffee had an incident with his Steve Harris as well. Wonder if the word "trade" is significant. I know I'm up to date with my £20
5. £800 with TATTY GIGBAG rather than hardcase. You won't see many of these this year. Still have a few bob towards the right jazz as well.
6. Great bass at a great price. GLWTS
7. It's a normal Jazz Bass Deluxe, from 2006. Very nice. 2006 was Fender's 60th anniversary (the Jazz didn't come along until 1961), most of Fenders instruments had the 60th Anniversary sticker/badge in 2006. GLWTS
8. All pm's replied & sold. Thanks for all the interest folks, cheers, Karl.
9. Cheers Foxy, very kind. On my radar but I need to sell something 1st
10. Any trial in Wigan. Sunset Orange Transluscent (a pig to photo) American Standard Precision, 2006 , Ash body, Maple board. They look MUCH better with a black plate rather than parchment. Relatively light for Ash at 9lbs 1oz. Good condition, a few cymbal nibbles, slight (certain light) scratching on the back. S1 model, graphite rods, 41.3mm nut. No case, just one of them crappy Fender Deluxe gigbags, that the pocket zips go on (main zip is fine). Feedback below, any trial in Wigan. Can't courier at the moment, so would need to be a meet up I'm afraid. TRADES!!! Fender Road Worn Jazz Fender Road Worn "Flea" Jazz. Nothing else PLEASE. Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl.
11. Cheers Dunc This could have been sold half a dozen times over, but as stated in the initial post, I am sadly not in a position to courier at the moment.
12. All further PM's, offers replied to thanks. Still currently here.
13. Great price for a Master Built, glorious looking bass
14.
I made the offer. To be fair I thought my mother in law still had some mileage in her.
In many ways she did, lovely shade of Daphne Blue. But the plywood teeth Seriously though, more trade offers but none of the basses I require.
15. Yup, you are an evil mastermind Ash
16. I've waited so long................
17. Actually Rich, Paul's offer is one of the more sensible ones
18. Thanks Stu. I've only seen the Hot Rodded (skunk stripe) in black, but looks like there are one or two of the original Hot Rods in the UK. Right, after 14 trade offers, none of which were 2013-2016 Deluxe Jazzes (+ I have£100 or so) or even USA 75 RI's , I think I need to make this sale only.
19. Somebody just buy it already, what a price for one of these beasts
20. Further pm's replied. And in a public response to "that guy" , sorry my patience with cockwombles isn't what it used to be..................................... Sunburst one sold in the States a few weeks back at $1050 Transluscent Orange (Ash, probably heavy maaannnn) sold on Bumtree 2 weeks ago for £950. That's the only two I've noticed this year.
21. Thanks guys very kind No, the price does NOT include shipping, especially at over £100 insured to southern Europe . As stated, change in work circs means shipping is now very difficult for me. All pm's replied (a lot), a Euro LX and a Darkglass 900 were both very tempting, but I must (finally) stay true to my quest!
22. Some piece of kit that Paul. GLWTS
23. Reluctant but I have 3 P/J's and this is the most valuable, and probably most saleable as they don't come up often. Black is the least common colour, Maple is the least common board. These Hot Rods were only made for 11 months from July 1999 before becoming the Hot Rodded, which ran for about 2 years. Lots of info on the balanced pick ups on BC & TB. Graphite rods, 41.6mm nut, 8lb 13oz, not original case, but expensive (and quite scuffed) Fender case included. A myriad of tiny surface scuffs on the back, that won't photograph, but for an 18 year old bass it's in good condition It's almost impossible for me to courier now, unless YOU want to sort out a Saturday collection. TRADES. I would prefer a trade for an American Jazz Deluxe dated 2013 to 2016. I have £100 to add to the Hot Rod. Please remember the Deluxe Jazzes of that time were selling new for between £1250/£1300 so really shouldn't be considered the same value as the current Elite series! Happy to meet up within 50 mile radius of Wigan. Any trial, feedback linked below. Thanks for looking, cheers, Karl.
