1. Now get it bought so Jon can buy somebody else's Berg . Bump.
2. Top class fella me lad, transactions just don't come any easier thanks Derrick. Highly recommended. Cheers, Karl.
3. Hello and welcome back Ian. You've certainly come to the right place to catch up, the knowledge, experience and sharing on here is incredible. One warning, beware the GAS . Believe me, you will come to fear it. Enjoy bud, Karl.
4. Some say he is called Beardy Sev. All I know is that it was an extremely easy transaction and he should be know as a recommended person . Enjoy Sev, cheers, Karl.
5.
That is very, very nice and probably my ideal cab. Pity i have 2off AE112 although it would be a nice match and would look great in a classic rock band me thinks. Fantastic price too. I paid more than that for one Berg AE112. Whow If the boss ok's it i now have to decide whether to go for an Ampeg SVT3 PRO or this Berg cab - Aaaaahhh nightmare stress levels. Cheers Dave
There are always SVT3 PROs available, but Bergs, well....... (and Penrith's just down the road from both of us, sort of) Holland, you really got to factor in pretty big courier and insurance costs. A lot of interest from offshore surprisingly. Thanks for the bumps though guys, cheers, Karl.
6. Further PM's replied. Sorry guys, not going abroad unless you organise your own courier/insurance. That WILL cost. Cheers, Karl.
7.
I wish it was sunburst! Bye, bye the wife.
Harsh but fair kinda bump
8. Oh Lordy, soiled underwear
9. This has been up for sale since before Christmas. I get the impression the guy bought it in good faith but it's turned out to be a bit dubious. I only live 6 miles from him, keep thinking about going round to have a look. It really COULD be genuine or he could have been had. Mind, it's Leigh, he's a big lad, don't think I'd go in without a wire and back up! Edit, knew I'd seen it here as well as FEEBay, Guntree and Preshagged. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/167798-rickenbacker-4001-mapleglo-1970s/page__hl__rickenbacker__fromsearch__1
10. We've got a Tigra (and a van) but it's only got 2 seats. I dont want to think how you did it .
11. PM's replied, sorry guys all I would look at in trade is EBS NEO, 4ohms, 210, 212 or 410. They must be pretty much immaculate as well. Bergs are top class(wasted on me) and seem to rarely come up. They usually go pretty quick as well. I think that going by BBM'S 212 I have priced this as a little bit of a relative bargain. I will give it a week or so on here then it will be off to FEEBay at £500 start and colection only. Just spent an hour packing the HT115, don't really even want to attempt this one . Karl.
12. Stunning , mind it would have to be some P to be worth more than that. Karl.
13. I get in trouble without even trying (and it was only a tenner)
14. Bargain folks, get it bought so Jon can buy my Berg
15. Beat me too it but as I was in for it last time, I know how much Chris sold it for . edited for spelling again!
16. Photos up, ta.

The specs are on the link below, however it is a Bergantino HT 322, 4 ohms, 800 watt with 2x10's and 1 x 12. (the HT115 is sold, before being advertised!) http://www.talkbass....no-ht322/cat/28 Apart from the inevitable scuffed corners it is almost immaculate. It is heavy and courier will be last resort, from both cost and safe packaging points of view. Pricing is difficult, they are not common and they are expensive. OBBM put an AE212 on here at £630 plus costs and that seems to have gone in February. So, my thoughts are; £450 collected from Wigan £500 delivered, very carefully by me, between Newcastle(any excuse to go to the Toon) and Birmingham. Any further, I would need to discuss with buyer. Please read my feedback, cheers, Karl.
18.
Karlfer Thank you for that info, quite a lot of Kasuga's out there I see! Have Rickenbacker ever embraced the `low end market' (as in price and not tone). Maybe if they are worried about good quality copies then they should produce their own `copies’. Sure the Chinese would welcome them with open arms!!! If I had £400 I might have thought about this, but I've just spent my bass allocation on two EBS 1x12's!!!! Cheers Charla
Welcome Charla, no Rick have never gone low end although there have been a couple of slightly cheaper, less specced models than the 4001/4003 (Hamburg springs to mind). I do hope Mr Hall the CEO of RIC doesn't see your comments about them getting budget ricks made for them in China, he may have a coronary issue . If you do ever decide on a Rick copy, do your research on the EBay thread on here. Good copy from the 70's or there are a couple of decent copies from this century. Cheers, Karl. Oh, bump!
19. The Gus has Snakewood fretboard to go with the Snake Oil
20.
Some Americans think they rule the World, well look where their Brand of Captilalism got us!!!!!!! I'm not anti all America, there are some really nice people out there. Rickenbacker Inc must feel very insecure if the CEO is contacting Ebay sellers ................ not everyone wants or can afford the real think. Sure I'd have one, but I have many more bass related priorities before I get to a Rick! Never heard of Kasuga, but it looks a nice bass. Cheers Charla
Go to the Ebay bit in the For Sale forum, go to the pinned Rickenfakers thread, search Kasuga and you will find quite a bit on them. Superb basses.
21. Good luck Stacker, admire the courage of your convictions. Admire the V63 even more, that looks fantastic, stunning, gorgeous . Only thing to offer is two immaculate Bergantino's unless you fancy a Kasuga in part ex . Good luck with the sale, I need to lie down in a dark corner now.
22. "Not as exciting as I had hoped " Welcome to my world.
23. Sad to start, happy ending, aaaaahhhhhhhh. Seriously though, brill story, congrats, Karl.
