PM's replied, sorry guys all I would look at in trade is EBS NEO, 4ohms, 210, 212 or 410. They must be pretty much immaculate as well. Bergs are top class(wasted on me) and seem to rarely come up. They usually go pretty quick as well. I think that going by BBM'S 212 I have priced this as a little bit of a relative bargain. I will give it a week or so on here then it will be off to FEEBay at £500 start and colection only. Just spent an hour packing the HT115, don't really even want to attempt this one . Karl.

The specs are on the link below, however it is a Bergantino HT 322, 4 ohms, 800 watt with 2x10's and 1 x 12. (the HT115 is sold, before being advertised!) http://www.talkbass....no-ht322/cat/28 Apart from the inevitable scuffed corners it is almost immaculate. It is heavy and courier will be last resort, from both cost and safe packaging points of view. Pricing is difficult, they are not common and they are expensive. OBBM put an AE212 on here at £630 plus costs and that seems to have gone in February. So, my thoughts are; £450 collected from Wigan £500 delivered, very carefully by me, between Newcastle(any excuse to go to the Toon) and Birmingham. Any further, I would need to discuss with buyer. Please read my feedback, cheers, Karl.
Karlfer Thank you for that info, quite a lot of Kasuga's out there I see! Have Rickenbacker ever embraced the `low end market' (as in price and not tone). Maybe if they are worried about good quality copies then they should produce their own `copies’. Sure the Chinese would welcome them with open arms!!! If I had £400 I might have thought about this, but I've just spent my bass allocation on two EBS 1x12's!!!! Cheers Charla
Welcome Charla, no Rick have never gone low end although there have been a couple of slightly cheaper, less specced models than the 4001/4003 (Hamburg springs to mind). I do hope Mr Hall the CEO of RIC doesn't see your comments about them getting budget ricks made for them in China, he may have a coronary issue . If you do ever decide on a Rick copy, do your research on the EBay thread on here. Good copy from the 70's or there are a couple of decent copies from this century. Cheers, Karl. Oh, bump!
Some Americans think they rule the World, well look where their Brand of Captilalism got us!!!!!!! I'm not anti all America, there are some really nice people out there. Rickenbacker Inc must feel very insecure if the CEO is contacting Ebay sellers ................ not everyone wants or can afford the real think. Sure I'd have one, but I have many more bass related priorities before I get to a Rick! Never heard of Kasuga, but it looks a nice bass. Cheers Charla
Go to the Ebay bit in the For Sale forum, go to the pinned Rickenfakers thread, search Kasuga and you will find quite a bit on them. Superb basses.
Ow! Stop nicking my ideas Nah it is actually easy. Though expect minimum orders of $5k from a lot of places. Once the shipping goes on and HMRC takes a kick back you need to basically allow for £5k. $8k from a company that builds for a few "brands" . I had one place going to do me 2 models to my specs and do 6 of each as samples.
Bring on the FenderBirds I say!!! -
The one I got (after 5 years of trying) was on at the same time as this one but it got pulled a few hours after going live on FEEBay. I was given the guy's email address by Mr. Foxen and managed to get mine for £450 (it is the ultra rare White front/Black back). I would have had this stunner but for the White and Black one coming up. Mr. Hall is a tad bothersome , but we bassists generally prevail. DO NOT sell off your Rick's because he is a little awkward, enjoy them for the great basses they are, cheers, Karl.

Genz Benz Shuttle 6 in Genz Benz gig bag. 4 weeks old, 4 gigs old, fantastic amp, only reason for selling is I got the chance of an EBS TD650 for a price I couldn't refuse. Pictures as at Genz Benz site, It is indistinguishable from new. http://www.bassdirec...Heads_STL6.html £320 collected from Wigan, £330 couriered to you after funds clear. Please check my feedback near bottom of this post. Cheers, Karl.

Excellent basses with huge tonal range. Don't know why he didn't mention the Piezo under the bridge though . Very light as well, obviously.

How exactly do you trade a bass through basschat?
karlfer replied to CBbass's topic in General Discussion
For many off us gear tarts it's about reputation. Most of us would fall on our swords rather than get a flaming for being dodgy.
