1. Must be, I always pay Euros in Manc
2. Glorious. THE Fender Jazz . Karl. Edit, 5 words and I can't spell them right
3. Always liked this colour. When this first appeared the other night I was so close to jumping in the car and up the M61, M6 and M55. Stunning bass, good luck bump. Karl.
4. 1967, at the ripe old age of 9, my first ever gig, Quo Darlington Civic. God knows how many times I've seen them. Apart from all the Big Fat Mama's etc, Unspoken Words, Gerdundula, A Year has gone, Railroad, wonderful wonderful stuff. Would be really great to see the original 5 again. Karl.
5. Send Aurora projects a template, they did one for me, with a very mild RickenFaker. Mind that was before Napoloen Hall got stuck in, I would certainly make it more derogatory now
6. Listen Mush, there'll be none of that hugging stuff from me, harumph. If you can play along to any full Maiden track, YOU ARE READY . Get out there now Milady, a band needs you. Karl.
7. Bump for a cracking bass and a proper musician.
8.
hahaha
Stop that you Bottom Wash-ist . Bump, don't want to look at this as I'm weakening by the day!
9. Used. Only new guitars are those delivered from distributor to customer, or that have been in a shops storage without being on display. IMO.
10.
Ha! Yes reasonable price all things considered, wonder how far it will go? If I hadn't just bought a '77 in similar condition I'd certainly have a punt at this - although I paid rather less for mine .
Wish I knew where you've done your shopping for the last few years Ash
11. Brilliant place this. Thanks lads, I bottled it and I'm so glad I did. Cheers, Karl.
12.
Hi Karl, There's a gig bag which goes with it.... Cheers James
Thanks James, Wonderful bass, thinking carefully at the moment but regardless, good luck, Karl.
13. What's the nut width Shonks? And the weight (save Tom from asking )
14. Perfection. I remember lusting for this when you first go it. Now, I need to do 6 more gigs to top up my bass money to this level The 6th is July the 6th. Anybody wanting this, you have been warned and the clock is ticking . Oh, and bump.
15.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330717139432 Does he have a thing for white '78 P's... hmmmm starting to smell a rat here... Looking at his feedback he's bought a VM Neck, Squier body and Fender tuners in the last 12 months......
16.
Does that make it a Fender Incision?

Does that make it a Fender Incision?
17. Is there a case, gig bag included James? Cheers, Karl.
18. Cheers Yorick, that's about what I thought, especially the rocketting bit .
19. If the price doesn't go too daft may well have a punt on this Sid-a-like, but apart from the declared hossing about, what do you reckon folks? Ta, Karl. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330733015318?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
20. Alan has just bought a bass off me. He is a really lovely fella, and a REAL PROFESSIONAL musician. Yes, he makes his living at it. Respect ! Decisive, did what he said he would do and even managed to find me despite Basschat (and more importantly messages) being down. That was really impressive. My immense thanks for that. 5 other people were after this bass, all in various stages of waffling. Alan got on with it and bought it. Deal with utmost confidence. Enjoy Alan. all the best, Karl.
21. Pie Jesu, Brightman and Miles-Kingston. CD on computer whilst doing invoices. Hawkwind next methinks. Great being your own gaffer
22. Again in response to questions, recently had a full professional set up by Ritchie Thompson, Thompson Guitars, Wigan. Ritchie is a wizzard. This included new 45-105 Status Premium strings, new Switchcraft jack socket, action/intonation/pick up set up. Cheers, Karl.
23. In response to questions, these were all Alder bodies. According to Fender forum most of Duck's legendary work was done on two 1958 Precisions, a maple board and a rosewood board. This is obviously based on the maple boarded one. One of these Japanese signature basses (presumably serial number 1 or 2 ) is glimpsed fleetingly in the hands of the Duck in The Blues Brothers film. Finally, yes, £550 in my eyes it's worth at least as much as a Geddy, or a Mexican 50's P bass. Cheers, Karl.
24.
Hey Karl mate! Yeah, gutted that it's come to this but moving abroad isn't cheap and I'm not using it. It's still in the same condition as when I got it from you. I hope all's well with you!
I would be well-er if I had £1300
