Bizarre that this is little more than some are asking for Player Series & £200 less than folk are asking for Nate's, Fleas & Road Worms, yet it's still here. If it's still here on Sunday, I'm going to put my USA Standard up and keep the one that doesn't go first (that makes total sense in my one brain cell ☺️).

Further PM's replied to. For clarity, I think the price is very fair to both buyer & seller. They don't come up too often, they are very high spec & with current circumstances I doubt the newer version will get any cheaper. OFFERS The only offer I would accept would be £625 WITHOUT the gigbag. COURIER I'm reluctant but I would get a box from Halfords however buyer would need to organise & pay for the courier. They can make the decision on cost & insurance. Thanks again, Karl.

This series of basses ran from late 2016 until replacement by the Player Plus last year. UNUSUAL high spec for any Fender, let alone Mexico. Precision body Jazz neck (the Player Plus appears to have gone back to standard P 41.3mm nut). Similar logo to late 70's 12 " radius fingerboard (again unusual in Fender). Medium jumbo frets Sculpted neck heel Precision middle pup Noiseless Jazz bridge pup Passive & Active (18 volt, lot of headroom). Vol, blend, treb, bass, active switch, mids (treble works as tone control in passive). Fender High Mass Bridge Fender gig bag 8lb 14oz There are some dints on the back, near lower strap button, from where it fell over. The price reflects this. Wonderful to play with a huge tonal palette. Reason for sale is simple, I got a black, ebony boarded Geezer Butler. Feedback also available elsewhere. COLLECTION from Darlington preferred, or will meet half way, within 100 miles radius of Darlington. Thanks for looking.

OBT mk 11 with two OBC 112's, killer portable rig. Simple, powerful & light. Plenty of tones in it but of course you have controls on your instrument and pedals if you must. Just an opinion, but my permanent gig rig now.

ON HOLD: Fender Deluxe Active Precision in Surf Pearl - *SOLD*

These are astonishing basses imo, with a terrific (and I'm fairly sure unique in the Fender range) spec. Jazz neck, P body, passive/active, 12" radius, noiseless pup, high mass bridge. Wonderful to play, the neck & fingerboard just work. A huge tonal pallette. Worth every penny, my Sunburst/Maple is fabulous. GLWYS -

I made an expensive recent purchase so I need to recoup some funds. Happy to talk half way meet. Lovely bass in superb condition, nicely set up, decent saving on new. Unlike some of these basses, the truss rod nut is absolutely fine, believe me, I tested it before I bought it. I normally use it without the scratchplate & tug bar, for that JPJ/Sting look, both are included in the sale. A lot of bass for the money imo. Sorry, I can't courier, no box or gig bag Link to embarrassingly long feedback https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/288068-feedback-for-karlfer/page/7/ Thanks for looking, Karl.

I know a service station 😉😁 I think that anybody who likes jazz basses should try one of these if they get the chance, particularly the earlier ones with Rosewood boards. I find it difficult to explain just how good & easy to play the necks are. Road Worn is a bit "love or hate" but I think there would be some interesting results in a blindfold test. I do prefer my (now fully passive, series/parallel, stack knob) Jazz Elite with asymmetrical neck & compound radius fingerboard. But not a lot in it. -
