  1. Only if you wish to do illegal fracking 🤣. Seriously even in the biggest non pa support gigs you will never struggle to be heard. The speakers do not struggle.
  2. Absolutely lovely guy to deal with & I can't believe how quickly & efficiently he sorted things out. He's also a really nice guy to deal with. And patient, oh yes, patient! Fully recommended, another great asset to Basschat. Enjoy the bass Jimmy & thanks again.
  3. As always, just such an easy & pleasurable experience when Brian buys something off you. He is brilliantly organised, very decisive & him doing his part makes it easy for the seller to do their part. Absolute joy Brian, many thanks again, cheers, Karl.
  4. Indeed, it is a bargain & a quality bass. Little touches such as the sculpted neckplate (as seen on Pro 11) and the raised pole pieces on the A & D of the Jazz pup. The 12" radius fingerboard is a wonderful playground. Nonetheless it's more disposable to me than my Geezer 😁
  5. Bump for cash required after inappropriate parking leading to bonnet repairs needed 😢🙄
  6. All PM's replied to thanks. Between here and the other place, over a dozen trade offers. Sorry sale only.
  7. My Mex Special P/J hasn't gone yet, whichever goes first, the other gets kept. This is the one where they came standard with the Custom Shop '62/63? pick up ( I can't quite remember which year). The colour is a pig to photograph and under stage lights can be anything from black to white. Lovely dark rosewood board. Superb condition, sorry, no offers, no trades, this series doesn't come up as often as you might think. Weight 8lb 12oz, original mint green plate, hard case & all case candy included. Sad to see it go but it doesn't get used (I only use Jazz profile necks now). Feedback available, thanks for looking.
  8. Entry level made in America bass with fittings of a slightly lower spec than American Standard, namely cheaper bridge, tuners & pick up, no string through body, no carbon neck reinforcement, no hard case. The body is also 1/8th of an inch thinner than the American Standard, hence slightly lower weight on average. Also reputedly marginally thinner neck, front to back. In my opinion, these are excellent basses in their own right, congratulations. Oh, and welcome to Basschat 😁
  9. Bizarre that this is little more than some are asking for Player Series & £200 less than folk are asking for Nate's, Fleas & Road Worms, yet it's still here. If it's still here on Sunday, I'm going to put my USA Standard up and keep the one that doesn't go first (that makes total sense in my one brain cell ☺️).
  10. Further PM's replied to. For clarity, I think the price is very fair to both buyer & seller. They don't come up too often, they are very high spec & with current circumstances I doubt the newer version will get any cheaper. OFFERS The only offer I would accept would be £625 WITHOUT the gigbag. COURIER I'm reluctant but I would get a box from Halfords however buyer would need to organise & pay for the courier. They can make the decision on cost & insurance. Thanks again, Karl.
  11. It is Dunc. Not many Precision bodies with factory Jazz necks. Quite a lot of features on this bass came from the American Deluxe Series(the predecessor to the Elite then Ultras).
  12. Many thanks chaps 😁 All PM's replied, @Grezza 1 yours was particularly tempting you naughty boy 😆
  13. This series of basses ran from late 2016 until replacement by the Player Plus last year. UNUSUAL high spec for any Fender, let alone Mexico. Precision body Jazz neck (the Player Plus appears to have gone back to standard P 41.3mm nut). Similar logo to late 70's 12 " radius fingerboard (again unusual in Fender). Medium jumbo frets Sculpted neck heel Precision middle pup Noiseless Jazz bridge pup Passive & Active (18 volt, lot of headroom). Vol, blend, treb, bass, active switch, mids (treble works as tone control in passive). Fender High Mass Bridge Fender gig bag 8lb 14oz There are some dints on the back, near lower strap button, from where it fell over. The price reflects this. Wonderful to play with a huge tonal palette. Reason for sale is simple, I got a black, ebony boarded Geezer Butler. Feedback also available elsewhere. COLLECTION from Darlington preferred, or will meet half way, within 100 miles radius of Darlington. Thanks for looking.
  14. OBT mk 11 with two OBC 112's, killer portable rig. Simple, powerful & light. Plenty of tones in it but of course you have controls on your instrument and pedals if you must. Just an opinion, but my permanent gig rig now.
  15. These are astonishing basses imo, with a terrific (and I'm fairly sure unique in the Fender range) spec. Jazz neck, P body, passive/active, 12" radius, noiseless pup, high mass bridge. Wonderful to play, the neck & fingerboard just work. A huge tonal pallette. Worth every penny, my Sunburst/Maple is fabulous. GLWYS
  16. Unbranded bass hard case, doesn't have a lock (saved me losing the keys). Scuffs, a couple of nicks but sturdy, fully functional & cheap. Sorry, collection from Darlington only (it would cost as much to post as I'm selling it for). Cheers, Karl.
  17. Top bloke is our Darren, deal with confidence peeps 😁. Nice price Darren, good luck with your sale.
  18. I think with energy & fuel prices that new basses will have another significant hike in the coming months. Having said that it's only a bass, I'm sure most of us already have one 😁.
