  1. 41.5 mm width about 21mm depth at the nut i bought 1 last year and its virtually the only bass I play. Its just right.
  2. Im using 2 PJB C4 lightweight with [this week] aBlackstar Unity 700 amp. Very light and portable Reheasal with a drummer playing normally, 1 cab, plenty loud enough. Gig with 2 cabs pretty loud as long as you dont want an 8x10
  3. I have a Line 6 G10 which I use at home, its a bit flimsy and i certainly wouldnt use it on stage, but its ok for practise. What I love about it is that if you forget to take the transmitter out it turns itself off after a few minutes, so when you pick up the bass a few hours later its still charged and you dont have a delay while you recharge it. What I dont like is as the battery deteriorates, you cant get a spare,so you have to buy a new transmitter, nearly £100, apart from the cost its not eco friendly to have an item with a finite and relatively short life which cant be repaired, I also have been using a stageclix wireless for some years, its tough as old boots, never let me down, and will recharge its transmitter when not in use. Its digital, works on 5.8thingumis, apparently latency is 1.5 and never had any sign of interference. It was about £350 I think. I changed the battery, cost me about £15
  4. Thats a reverse one as the cs64
  5. Mmm I hate clutter round my feet and the only thing it would give me is a mute switch and tuner.
  6. Yes the mini swiches look a bit flimsy but the same type of switch is on the Mesa D800 and two PJB amps I have had. Hopefully they should last.
  7. I recall reading an article, maybe in guitarist, where they swapped out the stock pick ups and put blade types as an upgrade, and I think they used bill Laurence,
  8. Im not sure if it is a class d head. I dont recall seing anything in the blurb. I could easily be wrong
  9. Ive got one its great. Theres a unity combo in a rehearsal room that ive used and I was impressed with that and I needed a head so I compared it to the Fender Rumble and I much preferred the blackstar. Get some nice tones. No blasted mute switch which is a pain but otherwise ok. Sounds nice and full.
  10. Im 75 this year gigging with 2 different bands and a weekly open mike night. I have lightweight gear and will carry on as long as I can but I can feel the bones creaking..
  11. Phil Jones BP 800 bought from Mark at Bass direct in August 2020 and for obvious reasons it hasnt been used much. It is pristine, looks as if its just out of the box.. All the techincal blurb is here. https://www.pjbworld.com/cms/index.php/product-bp-800/ This is a great amp very powerfull with all the usual PJB quality. This is one of the few class Ds that doesnt have a gig bag so I had one custom made with 50mm foam padding which cost £67 which I will include.
  12. Im glad you are still enjoying it. For whatever reason I just didnd bond with it.
  13. 2 volumes, one for each pickup, no tone control. Takes a bit of getting used to but you can coax some nice tones. Its almost my favourite bass.
  14. have you looked for a battery to replace the one thats knackered?
  15. I have been using Phil Jones stuff since 2011. [8b,6b,12B, 2xC4,. I have at times given them serious abuse and they have never let me down.
  16. Very Entertaining. Love the harmony guitars.
  17. Here we have a set of genuine New Rick tuners for the C series 4001 Bass. They are handed and include the spacers. I am told that the difference on these tuners and others in the 4000 range is the shaft diamer [.375 inches] Any queries please let me know. Mods please note PED said this advert is OK.
