3.
MB1. When the music stops you sit on a chair? then somebody hands you a parcel covered in newspaper and your only allowed to tear one piece off? all to the music of Stars on 45.

Well, I thought it was funny...
As did I..
 4. Bugger!!! I'm in Monmouth all next week (golf), missed Mott the Hoople by a week last year.
 5. Just bought a mic cable from Pete, good price, prompt delivery, great comms, a pleasure to do business with. Gerry
 6.
Doesn't have to be a genuine Fender either - the Squier VMs or CVs, SX and some of the early Jap lawsuit stuff in many cases is just as good as anything Fender have done. Also, there's a considerable number of after-market parts out there too. I had one with a Kent-Armstrong Vintage Hot Ceramic pickup and it was the nuts.
Couldn't agree more, I have an Sx fitted with Wizard thumpers and it's the dog dingly danglers.
 7.
There is absolutely nothing worse than desperately needing a piss mid gig.
I think needing a good stiff crouch just about trumps the need for a piss.
 8. Just taken delivery of some Yamaha PA speakers from John and they are the dogs dangly bits. Great price and great packaging.
 9. Our guitarist could be interested in this, so whereabouts is the land of the shitkickers?

 11. Minotaur Bass straps are what I use and they are the dogs dingly dangly bits. Fairly pricey mind (£40ish) about 4" wide and 60" long.
 12. Studiospares 40db in line attenuator about five GBP, mine (and I believe everybody elses) is exactly the same. If I knew how to put up a link I would but I'm as thick as a whale omelette when it comes to computers.
 13. Welcome from another Dorset member (that somehow doesn't sound right). I can see that slab of rock you live on from my window. If you are looking to borrow or even buy a practise amp PM me, I have got a couple that don't get used. Gerry
 14. Whereabouts in the country are you? I have a Barefaced Compact and OTB you are welcome to try if you are anywhere near me.
 15.
hmmm, any other opinions on this?
When I first got mine power light would flicker and go off. Turned out to be the power lead was a crap fit and if it wasn't pushed very firmly in vibrated loose. Wasn't aware of any fizzing noise, but then at my age there are lots of things I'm unaware of.
 16. Just bought a Boss ODB-3 pedal from James, a swift hassle free transaction, good price and very well packaged. A pleasure doing business with him.
 17.
I have a feeling.
You can get cream for that.

 20. Hi Alex Can see that I'm well out of the way down here in Weymuf (we get nosebleeds if we go as far north as Bristol), so if you take me off the list I'd be very happy to take you up on your offer next time you come to Weymuf. Gerry
