  1. It was one of the most recent Timmy C videos that made me buy the Special hah!
  2. This and the post about not trusting what you see is 100%. I'm honestly considering sending my CV to Reverb. Fun fact, the email said they resolved it quickly... Average cyber attack takes over 300 days to detect. I was going to do some reading into this breach and see what caused it but totally forgot.
  3. Hey folks, So, i'm using a line 6 Helix LT with some other pedals. I had thought i was fully sorted... but GAS is a beast.. as such, the board i'm using might be a bit too small... I still have a PT Pro laying around, and thinking of firing my pedals onto it. However, the case is bust. I'm ideally looking for one that allow the board to stay inside and just take one part off. Eg like the Diago ones (which is what I've got atm). Is there any type of case worth a look? I see pedaltrain sell replacement cases, but not keen on dropping such a high amount of cash on the OEM ones. thanks!
  4. Hah surprisingly I got "you'll play the bass, it keeps you sane. We're already nearly there for the wedding, so no issues." So I'm treating that as so long as I keep to our spreadsheet, it's fair game haha.
  5. I saw the colour online when I decided to grab the special and proper fell in love. It's even nicer in person IMO. If I wasn't getting married at the end of the year, i'd be tempted to just keep it. But weddings be pricey. So sadly it needs to pay the rest of the Status!
  6. I could be tempted by offers for this. I keep looking at it and thinking I can fund the Status in another way... but I think the black market is a bit lower right now for kidneys.
  7. Weighed in just now at 7.8lbs. 3 times for good measure! Also it's shown that I need a diet. Sadtimes haha
  8. I went for the Chris Wolstenholme in Woven Chrome with red LEDs - should look like this actually. Did consider headless, but I think that would baffle me too much!
  9. She's easily one of the nicest looking basses I've owned. IMO, the photos don't do it justice. I kinda wish I could justify keeping it, and still getting the Status. But I don't think the Kidney market is too hot just now - so needs must haha.
  10. Will nip to my mums tonight to steal her scales! PS still for sale after eBay fell through!
  11. Good question! I found this. Fingerboard Radius: 11" (27.9 cm) Neck Width at Nut: 1-5/8" (41.3 mm) Neck Width at Last Fret: 2-1/2" (63.5 mm) To me, its wider than my custom jazz (70s jazz profile). But I felt super comfortable playing it instantly. Like a glove.
  12. Hi folks, I'm looking to grab a Status in the next few months, so I've decided to sell my pride and joy - My EBMM Stingray Special 4HH. I've owned from new and it has been my most prized possession the entire time. Lovely finish, totally loved. I've just had it setup with new DR highbeams at RamJam in Aberdeen. She's got a 18v 3 band EQ and the usual 5 way pickup selector. And the neck 🥰 The ebony and roasted maple is amazing. It feels amazing. It's comfortably the best neck I've played - so taking a bit of a gamble of the Status! If it doesn't work out... I'll defo be back to the EBMM Special! Comes with EBMM hard case and Schaller strap locks. If anyone wants more photos, just let me know. This is the serial checker from EB. Serial #F82390 Manufactured January 3rd, 2019 Build Code 108-CP-50-01-CS-BM Model StingRay Special HH Color Charcoal Sparkle Neck Roasted Maple Neck Ebony Fretboard Pickguard Black Pickguard 2018 Hardware Matte Black Hardware According to the EBMM website, the colour is discontinued and a few places I saw online aren't getting stock for a few months. I'm based in Aberdeen, but happy to look at shipping. 😉
  13. Hello, Forgot I had this sat on a shelf! Great fuzz pedal - and awesome sound. Everyone knows what this sounds like I imagine. Comes in wooden box and with the 9v adaptor. Happy to ship etc
  14. Hi all, I wasn't going to sell this, but I'm just not using it just now. And it's too great of pedal not be used. Good condition, Velcro on the back. No box. It's been updated to the v3 firmware which opens the pedal up to a whole new world. The editor is also pretty good now. Based in Glasgow (soon to be Aberdeen) but can post it out. Thanks!
  15. Forgot that I still had this. Open to offers.
  16. Hey folks, Adding to my ever growing list of things to sell... Electro Harmonix triple loop parallel mixer. Handy pedal, I used for stacking my fuzzes in parallel (also in parallel with items in the ES8...HYPER PARALLEL PROCESSING! Hahah) Comes with official psu. Happy to ship
  17. Howdy, Looking to shift my Custom COG Effects "Snake" Switcher. It's an LS-2 on Steroids with controls for A or B & A + B. All with phase inversion switches. It works amazingly for adding a clean blend to signals, or for blending effects together - I used it generally as a clean loop for my fuzz tones. Clean/Dirty or Clean + Dirty. It worked brilliantly. Selling due to purchasing a HX unit. Control settings from Tom himself:- Top two knobs are the individual levels for A or B mode, bottom two knobs are the levels for A and B mode. Right footswitch for A and B mode, left footswitch to swap between A and B. Input jack bottom right, sends above them, corresponding returns directly opposite, out bottom left. Will take 9-18v DC, though I've only clipped it at crazy levels so you should be fine with just 9v. Looking about £90 + postage.
  18. I bought this from BC back in March - Decided to go the Helix route so my board is being completely sold off more or less. This is a highly customizable pedal, using desktop software or the app on your phone. So much tones available from this. I'd probs keep it, but I'm wanting to get my gear down dramatically. I do have the Source Audio Hub which can increase the number of stored presets to 128 ( I think). That should appear in a listing soon .
