5.
Ive dropped Rich a message based purely on how good this looks.
You wouldnt be disappointed
6. Speakers still here. Make an offer Dunno how to ship them though.
7. Hey guys, Another pedal to go. This is the 6180 model with 250k ohm resistance apparently suitable for passive instruments. I've barely used it. So no point keeping it. £75 delivered to the UK.
8.
Are you interested in any trades at all? (I appear to be appearing to take your Moog's from your board!) I have towards a partial trade, a Morley Pro Bass Wah, Voodoo Labs Tremolo and would consider trading my Akai Headrush and the Rocktron Cyborg Reverb actually.
Sorry dude, nothing really i fancy just now. Sorry!
9. cheers guys. More pics soon.
10.
I was just thinking to myself yesterday "If I had another LPF & I could put one on each channel". If only I had the funds Have you tried it with an expression pedal? Turns it into a completely different beast.
Well no... I have a EBJR but it doesnt appear to want to work. I'm actually toying with just ditching the lpf/exp idea... i dont actually use it often in song ideas (guitar rig) to warrant... Hmm.
11. Welcome From Aberdeen.
12.
Any news on this?...
Well the paint wasn't taking to the bass correctly - so wasn't curing. It's well on the way to being done, we've decided on how the control setup will be (for LEDs etc). Its going to have some push/pull switching going on, so will still look like "classic" jazz. I think we're just waiting on the paint fully curing then the parts being put together. I'll ask Rich to snap some more photos just to see the current look (hopefully now the paints well on the way it'll photograph better
13. Haha afraid not mate!
14. good question this. I was wondering this also..
15. Hi guys, Decided to sell my Moog Moogerfooger LPF. I'm not sure at present where the PSU has vanished, but i'll have a search... You can get a replacement from Maplin - so long as it has like 500mA current. I think I still have the box also, It's been barely used and has velcro on the bottom. Say about £160. Happy enough to ship - be about 6 quid I think. I'm based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Will get proper pictures after work. 16. Hmm you guys could be right... Does the BEF Pro let you swap between the hot hand and the exp out?
17. Also even though I'm not a huge fan of the song - Killing in the name by RATM's intro totally sends shivers down my spine. Just those chords. Also the little change in Dawn of the dead by Murderdolls/FDQFP13 is ace
18.
Its a long moment, but 3:20 on in Waking Up by OneRebublic is just amazing. The chorus of 57 by Biffy Clyro from the Only Revolutions: Live at Wembley CD/DVD made me go wow, Adams (Drums) vocals are just amazing. Liam
Adam? Isint it Simon, Ben and James? 57 is such an amazing song. So glad i've seen it in the smallest places!
19. I would love to try this - but I have no cash and no physical synth now. Looks like a cool thing.
20.
Very true! I think the source audio stuff has weird knobs? Do they come off normally? Because I think the third hand attaches to the pot shaft
I actually have no idea! Not attempted to take any of the knobs off yet.
Would she even notice the difference? Even if she did you could always say "That pedal you got me was so great I now need to trade up to the deluxe version!".
Haha she'd hold it against me for years she still winds me up about "the little purple pedal" aka a flanger. I bought it thinking it would make a huge difference to my sound - turns out i never used it and sold it 2 months later.
21. I think you should teach her YYZ.
22. I'd play it safe. Go for the basses that "look" like basses. Eg Have a bridge, pickups, headstock(!). I'd have been totally baffled by a headless when i first started about that age. I'd suggest showing her some cool stuff (favourite songs/cool riffs) - y'know songs where the bass is really prominent. I'd probs layoff the theory and scales for a first timer.
