You know it! Just waitin on my custom switcher/looper from Max @ SFX in the new year (will be replacing the LS-2) and I'm all set for 2012's gigging and recording.
Thats kinda what i have. Switcher/looper with downswitch for deep impact with seperate volume controls and a blend control. Super pedal!
As promised... The final signal routing and tidy up of the 'lower level' of my board... Gigrig Generator and all the distributors and voltage multipliers that means my entire board is run off 1 mains plug (except the Moog MP-201)... And the new, super tidy cabling in place! Woop woop... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... I told you I was using two OC-2's My Channel 2 is now more effective as my 'sub' channel: OC-2 -> Unichorus -> GEB-7 Shep
Niiiiiice!
I have decided to get Max at sfx to build me a custom pedal incorporating the Micro Red Dragon http://www.sfxsound....icro_red_dragon with an XLR out. Decided I wanted solid state, so no risk of valve failure/fragility, but with ability to emulate valve sound. Plus his pedals are teensy so very gigbag friendly!
You wont regret doing this cant sing max's praises enough!
Don't worry we'll work something out.
Bet it works out i need 230v or something hah
-
Generally, the power supply must have sufficient voltage to provide about 2v for each LED in series (4v for blue and white) plus at least another 2v for the resistor. It soon mounts up.
ah feck!

Might be worth giving max at SFX a shout. Get something made to order. Max is a great guy to deal with and his pedals are excellent also.
Lol... Tomorrow. Cabling is a mess at the mo. Moving things around etc...
Yass Will hold you to that! I need to figure out what to do with my board (again!) - my other halfs getting a BEF for my birthday i beleive. No space though
Few more tweaks to the board this week - fine tuning we'll call it. I have now officially entered the upper echelon of awesomeness as I now have 2 (yes TWO) Boss OC-2's on my board! Shep
pics or gtfo

Fast 3 finger picking in a 4/4 time signature.
What kind of music are you playing? I play with three fingers on my right hand but it just feels natural to me and more or less always has. A great way to keep me solid i find, so i hope it helps you build it up from the ground, is to play along to really simple say indie or pop bass lines in 4/4 and slug away with the three fingers. DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT TOO MUCH JUST LET YOUR FINGERS MOVE and it will become second nature, i also accent the first of every 4 to pick it out though obviously only when that sounds better. Try using your 2 fingers though, i emplore you! Speed comes with practise, and playing there is no jumps. I know two players who switched to 3 fingers one when he wasn't ready and made a mess of his playing and had to spend 6 months re-learning his right hand more or less and the other thought about it slowly then decided to do it. Like i said for me it was how i played when i first picked up the bass, but i've studied the "technique" as it were in great depth
Yup! Agreed.
I play power-inspired metal. Mainly chugging single notes at speed is my problem. Not the speed part exactly, but switching strings to play different notes. Or at really high speeds, just switching to any other note at the right time can be a problem when I play with 3 fingers. I have been playing for about 2 or 3 months now and my two finger style and speed is pretty good I feel. I have no problems there really. But i'm at the point now where using two fingers for the speed of notes I want to play is just not optimal. So it's either 3 or or a plectrum! I'll take your suggestion and start off slow and work my way up.
I used to play in a Power Metal band and could do the stuff with 2 fingers. 3 was more natural though so it just made life that little bit easier. Start slow and just count 1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3 - speed comes with practice. Also to quote Mr Timmy C in RATM - "If you can do it with one finger, you should. If you can do it with two finger, you should choose over three." -
I used the gk pickup with a novation bass station.. Prefer the deep impact! The pedal tracks better than the synth did.

Its a great sounding pedal. Its muse fans i think who push it up. Chris wolstenholme uses it often

DIY or 'built' given the rising cost of neo drivers.
