2. If you decide to get it done professionally - i cant recommend rich lewis enough. He's Ou7shined on here.
3.
That's a tasty wee board you have there Woody (Wee? It's bigger than mine!). In a Punk band?
Thats the baby compared to my old one! This is far lighter and better sound though! The Iron Ether Oxide is a superb fuzz. 1 pedal = win!
4.
I'm in 2 Bands one is called Neon Kicks which is a 4 piece punk covers band. The second band is called ZeroSignal, which is a 4 piece originals electro rock band. Both are Bristol Based. heres a link to our reverbnation page http://www.reverbnat...om/zerosignaluk
I like this alot. Give me a shout if you're heading up here at any point - or fancy a joint tour! Very cool.
5.
Hey guys, Seeing as I played my first show with them Friday seems like a good time to link my new band. We call it progressive prog and have been told it sounds like Muse being fronted by Tori Amos which is no bad thing Tracks here recorded with the bands old bass player http://deathintexas.bandcamp.com/ Comments always appreciated Cheers CV
Like the singers voice - Can't see that much Muse vibe but still pretty decent. Nice work I liked the song "Green"
6.
wow - that's an expensive board right there. Bet it sounds great though. nice one.
hah yeah pretty much! years of building and sorting sounds!
7. This got cabled up today. I need some expression pedals - but they can sit off board. I will be adding more george l's once i get around to buying more. pretty impressed with the noises now!* *until I want more stupidity again
8. hi guys - this is the 8 Ohm (600w). http://www.gak.co.uk/en/gallien-krueger-neo-212/2642 this is it here.
9. Hey mate - not sure off hand about the ohms. Will check tomorrow Happy to ship - don't think it would cost that much really.
10. Hey guys - i'm not using this cab and i'm missing my ampeg lots. So be aswell selling it to someone who will gig it lots GK Neo 2x12 - with cover (which is abit tatty) - all wheels present. Needs a washer on one wheel otherwise it falls out. Sounds really good - in very good condition besides the wheel and cover. £280
11. Decent price and a decent pedal. I need expression pedals for mine.
12.
RE Hysteria..It is not totally correct Muse Fanism, I know exactly how the sound is achieved (because I am a fanatic hence playing in a full on Muse tribute) and having said that I am moving on, there are enough discussions and threads on this...... But re the Deep impact the price is what it is..The one on Ebay Made £350..I reckon thats a fair "ish" price, gutted for the seller..never like to see a fellow bass player fall on hard times and for him I wish it made £650 but for me for the future maybe I can own one of these at that sort of money, certainly more of a prospect than at £650 ...lol
There was one on eBay (UK Based) a few months back that went for £750. Crazy Prices. People will still pay. I love mine, it's my longest serving pedal now (except my Tuner). Good luck to the OP.
13. I have some more photos Went and saw the bass last night and its looking awesome! Very happy bunny
14.
And no pickguard.. they sound better with no pickguard.
Didn't I say that to you last week? Also does the Lakland Darryl Jones count? I love it - Great bass, Great sound and lovely shape.
15.
Is mastotron still available??
Afraid not mate.
16. Really looking forward to this
17.
Not sure if there was a fire she'd be the first out out the door (that would be the Shuker... or the '80 L-1000... or the Pingray... or the ... ) but she's definitely the first one I pick up to play these days. A one-piece 70's mystery Jap bass with an original DiMarzio, £80 off ebay and a couple of days TLC....
Having played this :- its was an absolute steal! Needs the thumbrest dude!
18. That is awesome - what's it like to carry fully loaded?
19. I used the ampeg 610. AMAZING cab. I still miss it, but given my flats freaking tiny and its on the top floor it was a hassle after gigs (hence why i sadly sold it). If you're able to store it and transport it, you wont regret it. But I have heard good stuff about Barefaced - if I were to be looking for a new cab now - i'd probs give them a look in.
